Up for auction is this 1976 Porsche 930 Turbo chassis #184, finished in the rare color of Sahara Beige over a black leather interior. Sold new at Bozzani Porsche in Covina, CA, this Turbo eventually found its way to Oklahoma where it is being sold by the son of the third owner. Featuring a clean bill of health with a recent 8k service, this 930 is being offered in excellent condition with 15k miles showing on the odometer.
Prior to owning the vehicle, the seller states that this 930 received a complete refinish in its original factory color of Sahara Beige. Seeming to have always been well cared for, this rarely-seen exterior color is noted to shine beautifully with only one minor flaw noted on the right rear quarter panel which is outlined in the photo gallery. This 930 rides on a set of factory black Fuchs wheels that come wrapped in Michelin tires with a decent amount of tread life remaining. This is surely a unique example.
Although not confirmed, this 930’s original and extremely well-kept interior is a testimony to the low-mileage shown on the odometer. The black leather shows excellent with only minor wear to the driver’s seat bolster. The seller notes that an upgraded speaker and mid-mounted phone were installed by the original owner. A few noteworthy options include a factory electric sunroof, Limited Slip Differential, sport seats, pop-out rear windows, air conditioning, and power windows.
The numbers matching air-cooled 3.0L turbocharged flat-six engine sends approximately 245 HP to the rear wheels by way of a traditional G30 4-speed manual transmission. Said to be in excellent driving condition, this 930 received over $8k in mechanical service in 2018 which is outlined on the provided service receipts. This Turbo is just waiting to be enjoyed by a new owner.
The 930 Turbo was introduced as Porsche's iconic top-tier sports car that eventually formed the basis for the 935-race car, allowing it to win a succession of outright victories through 1984. Needless to say, the 930 holds a very special place in Porsche history.
The sale will include a master key, factory books, certificate of authenticity, tools, and some service records.

The decals (which are super cool btw) were probably not replaced after the “paint refinishing”; they also incorrectly replaced the rear deck lid model emblems. It should read “turbo carrera” instead of “carrera turbo” and there should be 25 mm space between the words.
Pictures of undercarriage are posted. Video of undercarriage should be posted by Pcarmarket later today, thanks.
@Porscheman81 It may have however since i have owned nothing has changed or been altered on the vehicle

@NightEagle Thank you for your input, the alterations have been made.
The color is Sahara Beige as indicated on the COA, not Savannah Beige. I have a '74 in the same color. Great vintage color.
Please post close up photos of the
flaw in the paint
