The Triumph TR6 was introduced in 1969 as the successor to the TR5, with a Karmann-styled body, increased trunk capacity, wider wheels, and a front anti-roll bar as standard equipment. This 1975 example is finished in Mimosa Yellow over black upholstery and is powered by a 2.5-liter straight-six engine upgraded with dual Weber carburetors. This classic British roadster is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Illinois.
This TR6 is finished in Mimosa Yellow contrasted by a black windscreen frame and soft top. Brightwork can be found along the front and rear bumpers, front grille, headlamp and taillight bezels, door handles, and driver's bullet-style mirror. The 15” steel wheels wear aluminum trim rings, red TR6 center caps, and Michelin X Redline tires. The seller notes a few paint imperfections and minor dents, additional images are provided in the gallery.
The cabin presents black upholstery accented by a polished walnut veneer spanning the dashboard. Equipment includes bucket seats, a three-spoke steering wheel, Smiths instrumentation, center-mounted accessory gauges, and an aftermarket Clarion cassette player. The seller states all gauges, electronics, and accessories are working properly, and reports the “EGR Service” warning light is present on the dashboard.
Beneath the bonnet lies a 2.5-liter inline-six engine upgraded with dual Weber carburetors. Up to 104 HP and 143 lb.-ft of torque stock are sent to the rear wheels through a 4-speed manual transmission. The TR6 features a semi-trailing arm rear independent suspension, a front anti-roll bar, rack and pinion steering, and front disc brakes. The seller states a new battery has been installed and recommends an EGR service as indicated on the dashboard.
This sale will include a clean title.

@Piantanida1 Depending on your location, we can arrange for it to be shipped open, or enclosed. I’d recommend shipping this one enclosed as it is extremely clean, and a collectible classic. But, yes, we arrange shipping all the time.

Can you arrange shipping?
Sorry, I forgot. If it doesn't leak, it is out of oil. Thanks.
@Piantanida1 It’s British; how else are you going to know if it has oil in it or not? In all seriousness, it leaks very little; a lot less than most of the other British cars we’ve had. To put it in perspective, after a week parked in one location, there was a spot on the show room floor tile between the size of a quarter and half dollar.
Does the car leak?

Having owned and worked on a few British beauties in my time can I suggest some undercarriage / frame pics? The challenge with these cars is keeping the steel intact over time.
