Representing the final version of Porsche’s mid-engine air-cooled sports cars, this 1975 Porsche 914 2.0 is paired with a 5-speed manual transmission and comes finished in Light Ivory over a Beige/Tan leatherette interior. Acquired by its first owner at the Porsche factory in Germany through the European Delivery Program, this 914 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of California.
The 914 comes finished in Light Ivory and features late-model safety bumpers with integrated front fog lights, a removable black roof panel, pop-up headlamps, a driver’s side mirror, and black vinyl sail panel covers. The 15” factory wheels are dressed in a set of new Nexen SB802 tires. The seller reports the exterior to be in great condition, detailed images are provided in the gallery.
The cabin is trimmed in Tan/Beige leatherette upholstery with matching cloth inserts on the seats and door panels. This example equips the Comfort Package, which includes a sports steering wheel, a leather gear-lever boot, two-tone horns, and a center console with a clock, an oil-temperature gauge, and a voltmeter.
The fuel-injected 2.0-liter air-cooled engine delivers up to 95 HP to the rear wheels by way of a 5-speed manual gearbox. The seller notes that muffler/cat gaskets and a Bursch Exhaust System were installed in April of 2005. Routine service records are said to be available dating between 1977 and 2005, along with an invoice for a wheel alignment in 2012.
This sale will include a clean title.

My name is Brent Smith, and I'm the seller and long term owner of Smith Volvo and SGS Independent Porsche. I have been restoring, selling, and collecting P Cars for decades. Because the ad description is rather brief, I wanted to share my personal assessment of this very original 914 2.0 Liter. It is probably one of the very few completely original quality 914s available for sale. The single stage enamel paint, according to our paint meter readings, is original on all body panels. The interior is all original as well. The factory dash pad is crack free and does not have any previous repairs. There is no indication of rust that we are aware of, and the pans are both intact and in great shape. The car came out of a long term California ownership, and it was garaged and properly stored. Hence, we just completed a major service including new tires. Please see most recent service invoice. If you are looking for an original, collector quality unrestored 914 2.0 Liter, this car is probably as good as you will find.

This is an all-original Porsche 914
Original engine? Everything is matching numbers?
@markd - From the video, that ‘hole’ should be called the ‘Heavenly hole’ :)
Do you have one photo that squarely demonstrates the ENTIRE rear of the car? I would like to see how the taillights interface with the rear bumper, and the symmetry thereto related.
Many thanks.

The photos do no justice to how clean and rust free this 914 is. It's hard to convey how original and pristine it really is. We will be attempting to document it a little better with upcoming photos and videos, but seeing it in person is a whole different story. I have never experienced this volume of phone calls in such a short amount of time on any of the hundreds of Porsches we have sold. Same question, is it as clean as the photos look? Answer? Yes.

Yes, I can get some pictures of the topside of the engine. No damage history that we know of. The owner purchased the 914 thru the overseas delivery program. The 914 just had a fresh service I will load the work that was done and anything that might have been noted. Make sure to look at the videos.
Damage history? Engine rebuild ? Everything working ? Any issues?
Any engine pics from the top side?
