This 1975 Porsche 911S Coupe was built as a custom backdate by Rasant Products of Long Beach, California. It features a custom 3.5-liter flat-six engine with twin-plug heads, electronic fuel injection, a Rasant intake system, tubular headers, and a dual-exit M&K exhaust. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a rebuilt 5-speed Type 915 manual transaxle with a Wavetrac limited-slip differential. The car also features RS-style rear fender flares, fiberglass bumpers, 9Eleven headlights, custom Fuchs-style wheels, and a MoTeC digital dashboard, a StopTech front big brake kit, Bilstein shocks, Turbo tie rods, 22mm/29mm torsion bars, and a custom front strut brace. Sold on PCARMARKET in 2023, it was purchased by the seller the following year and refreshed with new Recaro-style bucket seats, houndstooth cloth upholstery, and custom 15” Fuchs-style wheels. This 3.5-powered 911S backdate is now being offered for auction out of Arizona.

The car was factory-finished in Light Yellow (117) and had been modified with steel RS-style rear fender flares before it was acquired by Rasant in 2014. It was subsequently fitted with Dansk steel front fender flares, Getty Design fiberglass bumpers, a sunroof delete, and a backdated hood from a 1970 Porsche 911 before being refinished in red. The exterior is decorated with white Porsche script side stripes, bright window trim and door handles, 9Eleven headlights, a driver’s side mirror, hood straps, billet-aluminum 911R-style decklid hinges, and amber rear corner lights. Custom-made 15” Fuchs wheels were installed under current ownership, measuring 8” wide in front and 9” wide at the rear. The Avon tires are dated from 2019 and have at least 3/4 tread depth per the seller. The car’s paint is said to be in very good overall condition, apart from some shade variations around the exterior. Detailed images are provided in the gallery.

The cabin was redone under current ownership with new door panels and Recaro-style bucket seats accented by houndstooth cloth upholstery. It was also refurbished with a new headliner, sun visors, and charcoal square weave carpeting. Accessories include a leather-wrapped four-spoke steering wheel, power windows, Rasant Products aluminum floorboards, a black anodized shift knob, aluminum dashboard trim, and a customizable MoTeC digital dashboard display. A bolt-in roll bar is included in the sale.

Power comes from a custom-built 3.5-liter flat-six based on an aluminum 3.0-liter case from a RoW-spec 1978 Porsche 911SC. It features twin coil-on-plug ignition, CP high-compression pistons, 100mm Mahle cylinders, Elgin high-lift cams, high-rate valve springs, and a Rasant Intake System with interchangeable trumpets and a GT3 plenum. The engine also includes a 964 oil pump, billet valve covers, MoTeC M130 engine management, electronic fuel injection, a front-mount oil cooler, European race headers, and a dual exit M&K muffler. A claimed output of over 300 HP is sent to the rear wheels through a magnesium-case Type 915 5-speed manual transaxle featuring a billet side plate, one-piece bearing retainer, a Wavetrac limited-slip differential, and a Sachs lightweight pressure plate and clutch assembly. A Stoptech big brake kit has been installed, the strut towers have been reinforced, and the suspension has been modified with Bilstein Sport dampers, 22mm/29mm torsion bars, and Turbo tie rods.

This sale will include a removable bolt-in roll bar and a clean title.

The seller would like you to know: “This car has been listed many times in the last three years, but never with the new Autobahn interior or the custom-built 8- and 9-inch Fuchs wheels. It received awards at the Petersen Museum and People’s Choice the last time it was shown was at a Porsche Club of America event. I have no books and records, only what we found over the past three years on the Internet.”
