Up for auction is this 1975 Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe finished in Bitter Chocolate over a Beige/Tan leatherette interior. This 1975 example came with factory gold Carrera script across both doors and has been fitted with a front and rear spoiler as well as custom-finished Fuchs wheels. Prior to the current owner’s acquisition about one year ago, this Carrera had been part of a private collection where it was treated to a very high level of care including a major engine-out overhaul and transmission rebuild by an authorized Porsche dealer. Having participated in the Miami DRT car show where it was awarded 1st place in its category, this beautiful ’75 Carrera is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Florida.
This 911 came factory finished in Bitter Chocolate (T3) with optional gold Carrera script across both doors. Front and rear spoilers have been installed and the 15" Fuchs wheels have been polished and custom finished with contrasting gold paint. The car is said to have previously undergone a comprehensive glass-out respray in its factory color, detailed images are provided in the photo gallery. The Fuchs wheels come dressed in a set of Dunlop SP Sport tires.
Inside, this Carrera features a Beige/Tan leatherette interior with a factory sunroof and Blaupunkt radio. The sun visors have been recently replaced and the dashboard, seats, door panels, carpets, and headliner present very nicely. The seller confirms all gauges, lights, and accessories to be working properly including the sunroof, clock, side mirrors, and windows.
Power comes from a 2.7L flat-six fuel-injected engine paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox that sends as much as 165 HP to the rear wheels. The engine and transmission are reported to be original to the car with stampings reading 6451664 and 153070, which correspond with the numbers listed on the Porsche Certificate of Authenticity. A major engine-out service and reseal was carried out by Sewickley Porsche of Pennsylvania in 2014 at 77k miles. The transmission is also said to have been fully rebuilt by an authorized Porsche dealer. Service carried out under the current ownership within the last year includes new shifter bushings, spark plugs, a new fuel distributor, and a warmup regulator.
This sale will include a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity and a clean title. Offering classic air-cooled styling and a visceral driving sensation, this 1975 Carrera makes a fine selection for any enthusiast in search of a vintage Porsche 911.

seller is removing the reserve
You mention the front and rear spoilers were added. Were they not original to a Carrera?

@AirCooledLife Thanks for the replys. Did you see my question about the valves guides? That's important because if not replaced, they will need to be, and will be costly. Thanks again!
@shams96 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RJjiqdwXsfQ Please click the link provided to take a look to the videos, 7min video showing all before mentioned. Please refer to my previous answer about the dashboard.
@01s2 Hi, yes indeed it's a dashboard cover properly installed and attached to the original dashboard. We rather not touch it.
@01s2 odometer is currently reading 77,829 miles. This car has not carfax due to the age of it but as far as we know and due to the service history the mileage is correct.
@greencorpguz hmm what
Forgot to ask in my last comment, has the mileage been confirmed to be 78k? Could easily be 178 or 278. I don't see any info on the actual milage proof. Thanks!

Name is slicknick
And you wanna meet the seller and see the car
Hmmmm
Just sayin
Can some one pls share the link to video that some of you mentioned in comments. I can not locate it.
Also need answer to the dashboard cover and if the dashboard is cracked.
Hello Seller, a couple questions:
- The dash looks like a cover. Is it? Also, if it is, is the actual dash cracked? Do you have pictures?
- Valve guides. Were they ever replaced? Does it still have the copper ones that tend to fail often?
Thanks!
@slicknick Please look your messages.
@TWag Also we wanted to focus on the engine sound.
@TWag Because driver didn't need them, wipers work perfectly fine.
Bid in the amount of $37,750
Why in the video did the driver never use the windshield wipers?
I requested to view the car. I’m local. Waiting on location if possible thanks
Hi bidders, take some time and look all the new pictures & videos added, please pay attention to the quality of the underside in this beautiful 2.7L 911 Carrera.
Good luck y'all.
@gturner008 Good evening! This Car it’s been part of our collection for a few years and it’s been driven very little since all the work showed in the invoices was completed. The engine and transmission were removed, transmission was fully rebuilt and Engine was gone through. The whole car received a full major service to keep the integrity of it.
1. Engine and Transmission removed, engine had a major restoration and major maintenance, Valve Adjustment, new rocker shafts were installed and tighten into the right position, engine and engine cover were cleaned, all new gaskets, new and updated timing chain tensioners with new belts, all new vacuum lines and oil vapor hoses and all main seals replaced.
2. New Stainless Steel manifolds with heat exchangers paired with a M&K exhaust, new muffler and muffler mounts.
3. Transmission was rebuilt, new Iron Clutch kit and clutch cables, new driveshaft, synchro ring, Sleeve and of course new seals and gaskets.
4. All Brake Calipers were rebuilt, New brake master Cylinder and new Hoses.
5. New hand throttle control lever for cold starts was installed next to the hand brake and works great.
6. Fuel tank was removed, cleaned and coated, new electric fuel pump, new fuel distribution head, fuel accumulator and new warm up regulator.
THIS IS JUST A SUMMARY OF MAJOR THINGS DONE ON THIS CAR, there’s a lot of parts and labor on this car that is not described on this little summary. Please read the amount of work done to this car, more than $21K in a Porsche Dealership which would be a lot more now.
Thank you and good luck bidding!!

Grand, thank you. It'll be good to see these vidoes and pictures. Well done.
@garyt Good afternoon, thank you for the recommendation. We just uploaded multiple underside pictures, Video walking around the car + Interior condition video, cold start video and driving video. Pcarmarket should be adding all that to this listing shortly.
Could the seller please comment on the work carried out? Looks like a tonne of work completed on a low miles car. Lots of things replaced that is somewhat surprising (like clutch etc). It's not clear on the receipts what was completed and what was recommended to be done (and may or may not have been done). Might help the seller to summarise precisely what was actually done by the main dealer back in 2014 - and (importantly) what was not done versus the list of dealer recommendations. Many thanks

Hi Future buyer, bidders and readers. As I explained in past comments, I will be back in Miami tomorrow afternoon, I will summit right now to Pcarmarket the copies of Major work done since I got copies in my computer together with a copy of the COA. I will take some videos tomorrow and upload them as well. Thank you y'all.
@88Gbody Beautiful car and mechanically sound... You guys will get all that as soon as I get back... Thank you for understanding.
@JNasty Hi!! I will be summiting all requested + Cold start and engine running video before this auctions ends. I am currently out of town and will be back in Miami tomorrow afternoon.
Clean, nice looking car in interesting color. Generally nice presentation. Seller will leave money on the table, however, without cold start and driving video, receipts for the claimed major service history and painting, pics of undercarriage, LD and comp data. Almost two days gone by and no answer to @JNasty inquiry.
Are you sure that interior isn’t cork? I have a 77 with bitter chocolate over cork and it looks identical.
Lovely car!
@seller, photos of receipts for major work and photo of COA please
