This European-market 1975 Porsche 911 Coupe underwent a custom restoration by a Stuttgart-based shop in 2015 including a repaint in Conda Green, a rebuilt 2.7-liter engine, and a black interior with custom tartan cloth inserts. It features a 4-speed manual transaxle, 911SC fender flares, an early 930 “whale tail” rear spoiler, a front chin spoiler, Bilstein shocks, a three-spoke MOMO steering wheel, RS-style door panels, fixed-back sport bucket seats, and 16” Fuchs alloy wheels. Purchased by the seller during a trip to Germany in May 2024, this 911 was subsequently imported to the U.S. and is now being offered for auction out of Michigan.

During the restoration in 2015, this non-sunroof 911 Coupe was refinished in the classic 1970s Porsche color of Conda Green (222). It was fitted with wider 911SC fender flares, a front chin spoiler, and a 930 Turbo Carrera “whale tail” rear spoiler. Other details include European-spec side marker lights and bumperettes, Porsche logo side stripes, and 16” Fuchs alloy wheels dressed in German Bridgestone Potenza tires. The seller describes the car to be in very good overall condition, detailed images are provided in the gallery.

The black interior has been redone and customized with tartan cloth upholstery covering the RS-style door panels, rear seat bottoms, and front sport bucket seat centers. Equipment includes a custom suede-wrapped three-spoke MOMO steering wheel, door panel storage nets, pop-out rear quarter windows, a heater, a locking glovebox, analog VDO gauges, a quartz clock, and a vintage Blaupunkt radio. All gauges and accessories are said to be fully functional.

Originally rated at 150 HP, the air-cooled and fuel-injected 2.7-liter flat-six engine is said to have been rebuilt during the restoration. The rear wheels are driven through a 4-speed manual transaxle. The car reportedly underwent a mechanical refurbishment which included the installation of upgraded Bilstein shock absorbers. German service records are included in the sale and images of the undercarriage are provided in the gallery.

This sale will include a toolkit, a spare tire, service records, and a clean Michigan title.

The seller would like you to know: “Thank you for checking out our 1975 Porsche 911 2.7 Coupe! We had the pleasure of purchasing this vehicle from a very reputable shop in Stuttgart, Germany. It was imported, passed through customs and is now offered with a clean Michigan title. The car was fully restored and mechanically overhauled in 2015. Repainted in stunning Conda Green. Paired with the Tartan interior, this car turns heads wherever it goes. Hope it finds a great garage to call home!”

@NHPorscheguy yes, I'm aware. The EJ8J means they were produced the 32nd week of 1998. They are in good shape but they are old.

  • NHPorscheguy (registered bidder) 3 months, 3 weeksago

@garagekept no, I'm looking for the date codes. It's 4 numbers, and it provides the year (first two) and week (last two) the tires were manufactured. I'm just trying to get an idea of how old they are to determine whether they'll need to be replaced. Thanks.

@NHPorscheguy thank you for the kind words. We love the color combo!

The dot code on the tires reads EJ8J.

  • NHPorscheguy (registered bidder) 3 months, 3 weeksago

This color combo might not be for everyone, but I really love the combo of the Conda Green and tartan seats. Seller, can you provide the date codes on the tires. I can't pick it up in any of the pictures. Thanks.

    @Nikojo Thanks for the bids!
thank you. It is a nice spec for sure. I did just put a magnet on the rear flares. They are steel. I am not sure if they are OEM but I would assume so based on the quality of the restoration and done properly in Stuttgart. I don't read German either...

  • Nikojo (registered bidder) 3 months, 4 weeksago

Wish I could read German to go through the receipts lol.

Nice job representing it and beautiful car. Love the non-sunroof euro spec.

Do you have more information on the rear flares? Are these fiberglass or steel? Are these OEM? Do you have pictures of when and how they were done?

  • 930flachbau 4 monthsago

Not a big fan of green on any car, but gosh, this 911 looks great in this shade of green. Good luck with sale.

  • SJH1985 4 monthsago

Beautiful car. Interior is perfect. GLWS!

  • garagekept (seller) 4 monthsago

@cheungms it is a great car! Runs and drives extremely well. Has more power than other 2.7's I've driven.

We are a dealer: Garage Kept Motors. We buy and sell cars. We actually purchased a couple 911's in Germany. It did take some time and money to get them imported and passed through customs. We drove the car to some shows over the summer/fall and now we are hoping someone in the U.S. will own and enjoy this one.

  • cheungms (registered bidder) 4 monthsago

    Seems like a great car!
Curious, if you went through the hassle and expense of importing, why are you selling only 7 months later?
