Available for auction is this 1975 Alfa Romeo Giulia Nuova Super 1300 finished in Yellow over a black interior. First offered in 1962, the Type 105 Giulia is a family of compact executive sports sedans produced in Italy up until 1978. Known for its lively driving characteristics, the Giulia featured a lightweight body paired with a light alloy twin overhead camshaft four-cylinder engine, making it one of the most exciting sports sedans of its day. This 1975 European import is a Nuova Super 1300 model which marks the last of the Giulia Super range, carrying a 1,290cc engine with two double-choke horizontal carburetors derived from the GT 1300 Junior coupe. Charming and sprightly, this Alfa Romeo has undergone a recent 75-point inspection and is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Florida.
This Giulia comes finished in a nonmetallic yellow shade and features a black plastic grille and flat trunk lid specific to the Nuova Super range. Alfa Romeo developed the Giulia using a wind tunnel, which led to a very aerodynamic shape that produced an impressively low drag coefficient for sedans at the time. The car has been restored at some point in its life and the seller describes the finish to be in good condition overall with some minor cosmetic imperfections, detailed images are provided in the gallery. Equipment includes include a driver-side mirror, chrome bumpers with rubber overriders, a wraparound glass rear window, and 14″ steel wheels dressed in Falken Sincera tires.
The cabin is upholstered in black vinyl and features woodgrain trim on the dashboard and center console as well as a wood-rimmed three-spoke steering wheel, manual windows, chrome fittings, and a radio. The seller notes the interior remains in great condition overall with some patina on the wood trim and shift knob. All gauges, lights, and accessories are said to remain fully functional.
Power comes from a 1,290cc dual-carbureted twin overhead cam four-cylinder engine, which produced up to 88 HP and 103 lb.-ft of torque when new. The rear wheels are driven by way of a 5-speed manual gearbox. The Giulia has been lauded for its lively handling and impressive acceleration, particularly when compared to other small European sedans of the era. The seller reports no mechanical faults or outstanding service items and states that a 75-point inspection was carried out in September of 2021. Images of the undercarriage can be found in the gallery.
This sale will include a spare tire and a clean title. One of Alfa Romeo’s most iconic cars, this 1975 Giulia is the perfect Italian sports sedan for a classic car enthusiast.

@BarryJWilliamsSr. - Hello, the condition of the roof paint is great. I have added a few photos of the roof lining which can be viewed in the link at the end. There is one spot near the front driver side that shows cracked paint and a bit of rust that would need some attention. Overall the paint is in great condition. Hi Seller. Can you Confirm this car is rust free?
The paint on roof looks fine. You might be interpreting the glossy reflections of the clouds in the sky above the car.

It appears from three photos that the roof paint is in very poor condition. Does the roof require refinishing and paint?
