This 1974 Porsche 911 Targa is the subject of a custom Turbo-style build, including wide steel fenders and a Euro-spec turbocharged 3.0-liter 930 flat-six engine by Reno Rennsport. Finished in Arena Red Metallic over a black interior, it features a 930S-style front fascia, straked side air intakes, aero mirrors, a painted fiberglass Targa top, a tea tray rear spoiler, 16” Maxilite Fuchs wheels, updated 993 power seats, RS-style door panels, a three-spoke Sparco steering wheel, cockpit-adjustable turbo boost, and upgraded 930 brakes and suspension. Driven approximately 3,500 miles since the rebuilt engine and 5-speed manual transmission were installed, this custom 911 Targa is now being offered for auction out of Alabama.

This 911 has been fitted with 930 Turbo bodywork, including wide steel fenders, a 930S-style front fascia with integrated fog lights, a wider rear bumper, and a tea tray rear spoiler. The exterior is finished in Arena Red Metallic and features updated aero mirrors, a painted fiberglass targa top, a painted roll hoop, Slant Nose-style side air intakes, dual chrome exhaust tips, and 16” Maxilite Fuchs wheels with new Yokohama tires. An additional set of 19” wheels is included in the sale. Detailed images are provided in the gallery.

The interior has been redone with grey carpeting, power-adjustable Porsche 993 seats in black leather, and black RS-style door panels. Accessories include Porsche-crested headrests, red door pull straps, Sparco pedal covers, a Sparco shift knob, a leather-wrapped three-spoke Sparco steering wheel, a turbo boost adjuster, and an aftermarket stereo and speakers.

Power comes from a turbocharged Euro-spec 3.0-liter 930 flat-six engine built by Reno Rennsport. The rear wheels are driven through a 5-speed Type 915 manual transaxle, which was also rebuilt and upgraded to accommodate the turbocharged engine's power. The car features an aftermarket exhaust system and upgraded 930 Turbo brakes and suspension. The seller indicates that both the engine and transmission were rebuilt and installed within the last 3,500 miles.

This sale will include a clean title and an additional 19” wheel and tire set.

@CrowFl Thank you. Yes; I was responding to your reference to photos #60 & #61.

I appreciate the transparency with your pictures and descriptions. I was referring to pictures 60 & 61.
Looking forward to the driving video weather permitting. Thanks

@luis.seneriz No A/C; but you have the Targa top ;) A 3.0L 930 Coupe weighs 2,641 lbs, it's likely close; it feels light/nimble, the engine is strong, sounds great, nice power delivery, handles excellently, the transmission shifts smoothly through all gears, etc. -- I'll get a driving video done tomorrow, weather permitting.

Cool build. Does car has AC? Would be great to see a driving video. How much boost can it handle? Any idea how heavy this car is?

@kd123192 OEM class bulbs are currently installed.

@CrowFl Thank you. Yes; the paint has an excellent deep luster, making the Turbo Targa "pop". Our aircooled specialist & restoration shop did not cite a specific cause for what you cite -- overall the car looks extremely nice for this class Restomod build, but does have a few paint chips and defects that I did my best to show in the media set.

Car looks great for its age. What do you think is causing the paint to fail on the drivers side brake vents?
