Finished in red over a black interior, this 1974 Porsche 914 features a fuel-injected 2.0-liter flat-four engine paired with a 5-speed manual transaxle, four-wheel disc brakes, houndstooth-trimmed seats, bronze-finished wheels, Hella driving lamps, and a Kenwood Bluetooth stereo. Purchased by the seller in 2019 and serviced with a fuel line and tank replacement in 2023, this 914 is now being offered for auction out of California.
This 914 is finished in red with black vinyl sail panel covers, a removable roof panel, chrome bumpers, a polished driver’s side mirror, and satin black quarter panel accents with racing decals. Other equipment includes pop-up headlamps, a fender-mounted antenna, Hella driving lamps, and bronze-finished 15” steel wheels dressed in American Touring Pluis tires sized 165/80. The seller notes the passenger-side door does not open from the outside.
The cabin features reupholstered two-way adjustable black seats with custom houndstooth inserts. Other accessories include a four-spoke steering wheel, Porsche-crested gear knob, a Rennline floorboard, manual window cranks, a rubber dashboard mat, a stickered dashboard fascia, and a Kenwood Bluetooth stereo.
This 914 is equipped with a mid-mounted 2.0-liter flat-four engine with Bosch D-Jetronic fuel injection, sending up to 91 HP to the rear wheels through a 5-speed manual transaxle. Stopping power comes from disc brakes at each corner. The seller adds that the fuel lines, fuel tank, and battery were replaced in 2023.

Seller. Thank you for the additional pics. Again, requesting a video of the car driving, documentation of the work / service done to the car, and pictures under the carpet. Thanks.
Very easy. It’s just a wrap. It’s been in car for over 1 year and always garaged kept. So wrap is not cracked. Easy to remove
How difficult to remove the black side panel? Any knowledge as to how long on body?
This car does not require smog. And yes it’s registered
Does this car pass smog in CA and is it currently registered?

I was high bidder on this on BaT couple weeks back. It was selling low due to lack of communication from the seller. I never heard a word about making a deal post auction. Hopefully it does better over here on PCM.
Seller. Could you please share a video of the car running and driving, documentation of the work / service done to the car, and pictures under the carpet. Thanks
Yes the carpet in trunk looks nice , the carpet in frunk looks nice , tire shine is amply applied, the glazed donut on trunk grill looks edible too . Can anyone take pictures of what is under the carpets so us bidders can get an idea of the true condition of the car i???? Maybe light up the bottom of car also before taking pics . ?
