Representing the inaugural year of the iconic G-Body 911, this non-sunroof 1974 Porsche 911 Coupe was refinished in black under previous ownership and modified with wide fiberglass fender flares, front and rear spoilers, a vintage Porsche Design MOMO steering wheel, aftermarket headlights, and three-piece MSW by OZ Racing wheels. The fuel-injected 2.7-liter engine was also rebuilt and fitted with a carbon fiber airbox and SSI heat exchangers. The car was purchased by the seller in 2023 and subsequently treated to a major service with new rear shocks and axle shafts, gearbox repair, front bakes, a new battery, spark plugs, distributor parts, and fuel system tuning. As previously listed on PCARMARKET, this modified 1974 Carrera is now being offered for auction out of New York.
This 911 was modified with wide fiberglass fender flares under prior ownership and refinished in the current shade of black. It features front and rear spoilers, tinted windows, European-spec bumperettes and side markers, aftermarket headlights, headlamp washers, a fender-mounted antenna, chrome door handles, black stone guard decals, a raised third brake light, and custom three-piece 15” MSW by OZ Racing wheels. An invoice supplied by the seller shows two new rear tires were mounted at 70,986 miles.
The cabin features tan vinyl seats with contrasting black piping and matching door panels. Accessories include a vintage three-spoke Porsche Design MOMO steering wheel, black carpet floor mats, manual window cranks, a heater, a quartz clock, and a vintage pushbutton radio. The seller reports all gauges and accessories are working properly.
Power comes from a fuel-injected 2.7-liter flat-six engine paired with a 5-speed manual transaxle. Invoices show the engine was rebuilt by Automotive Excellent of North Carolina in 2010 and it was later fitted with an aftermarket carbon fiber airbox and stainless-steel SSI heat exchangers. Another invoice from previous ownership shows that the intake was resealed in 2021. Under current ownership, the car was serviced with new decklid latches, an oil change, rear shock absorbers, rear axle shafts, a gearbox end cover, a new distributor cap and rotor, ignition wires, spark plugs, a new battery, front brake pads and rotors, and fuel system tuning.
This sale will include a collection of maintenance records, a spare tire, and a New York registration.

@Gildragu1965 hello thank you for the brief reply to my questions
Firstly, are you saying that the catalytic converters are installed on the car currently or they are included separately in the sale?
Next, you didn’t respond to my question about the timing of your selling the car, so shortly after purchasing and investing in a full service, etc.
If you don’t mind, please explain why you’re selling them Porsche so soon after purchasing
@sportscarguy3 Hi ,
It’s come with catalytic .
Sorry for late reply
hello seller
if you don’t mind me asking , you’ve owned the car for less than a year. was it your intention to flip it or is there another reason you’re selling it now? ( so soon after purchase )
Does the car come with factory catalytic converters I’m here in California, and it would need to pass smog I believe
