This particular example has been meticulously restored by the Airstream specialists at Innovative Specs in Venture, California, in the spring of 2023. It boasts a freshly polished exterior and a cohesive grey, blue, and brown-themed interior that seamlessly integrates dining, seating, sleeping, kitchen, and bathroom areas. The renovation features hand-howed flooring, marine-grade plywood, and maple wood craftsmanship, complemented by new tiling and modern amenities, including a refrigerator, television, LED lighting, and more. This beautifully restored Caravel is now available for auction by its seller out of California.

The Airstream 18’ Caravel presents a compact, lightweight structure with a polished aluminum finish, streamlined rounded design, riveted panels, distinctive curved windows, and subtle Airstream badging. This example’s equipment includes a guarded front window, reflectors, upgraded LED lighting and wiring, a roof-mounted air conditioner, a fabric side-mounted awning, 15” wheels with new Trailer King RST tires, and a front-mounted spare. The seller notes the exterior was polished as part of the refurbishment, and detailed images are provided in the gallery.

The refurbished cabin offers seating, dining, a bed, kitchen, and bathroom areas, all in a cohesive grey, blue, and brown theme. It features hand-howed flooring, marine-grade plywood, and maple wood bed supports. The interior updates include new wooden cabinets, countertops, upholstery, and foam. Modern amenities comprise a new refrigerator, television, updated electrical wiring, lighting, and an HVAC system. Well cared for throughout, and it shows on one of the finest travel trailers ever built. Light, bright and airy feeling on the inside. If you want the vintage Airstream experience without the old-dated interior, then this Airstream is for you. It was customized/renovated in the summer of 2022 by Innovative Spaces, a top-of-the-line builder for Airstream spaces in Ventura, California. We saved and reused many vintage elements. At 18', it is easy to maneuver and perfect for road trips, using it as an office or renting as an Accessory Dwelling Unit. All couches and dinette convert to 3 beds and can sleep adults comfortably. The vintage exterior patina is in great condition and has just received professional polish. The plumbing and tanks are new and have never been used.
