Finished in Club Blau paint matched from the 50th Anniversary Club Coupe, this 911T has been modified with a rebuilt 3.2-liter engine, upgraded brakes and suspension, RS-inspired styling, and a custom lightweight interior. It has been under the care of the same owner since 2005 and is now being offered for auction out of Illinois.
The seller states the car was stripped to bare metal and refinished in Glasurit-formulated Club Blau paint about 5 years ago. It was outfitted with fiberglass RS-style body pieces including the front and rear bumper, front fenders, and ducktail rear spoiler. The metal rear quarter panels were sourced from a 911SC. Removable white vinyl “PORSCHE” lettering is applied, custom 911R-inspired turn signals and titanium decklid hinges are equipped, and the car rides on staggered 8”/9”x16” Fuch wheels dressed in Yokohama A-008Ps tires. A minor rock chip is noted in the windshield, detailed images are provided in the gallery.
The driver-oriented cabin is fitted with black leatherette RS-style bucket seats and 4-point harnesses along with a Hargett Precision short shifter, a MOMO racing steering wheel, and a Club Blau painted roll bar. The carpeting is said to have been previously replaced in addition to most rubber seals. The horn, radio, heating system, parking brake, and windshield wiper fluid and pump have been removed. The electric sunroof operates slowly, and the seller reports all gauges to be operational apart from the clock.
This 911T is powered by a 3.2-liter flat-six engine which was rebuilt approximately 15k miles ago including upgraded Dougherty Racing Cams DC20, AASCO titanium valve springs and retainers, 1.625” headers, and a center dual-exhaust muffler along with a Steve Wong chip modified to Euro programming. A front oil cooler kit with stainless lines and a fan has also been installed as well as Bilstein shocks with Tarett Engineering front and rear anti-sway bars, stiffer torsion bars, a brake cooling kit, and red painted calipers with Pagid brake pads. Recent service consists of an oil change and oil filter change.
This sale will include a clean title.

@Pcars Hi, prior to painting there was minimal surface rusting that was found and repaired. Previous to my ownership the last owner had replaced several panels I think the front pan was one and reinforced. I am not aware of any rusting that needs to be addressed (the front left original battery box shows a tiny bit of surface rust) all the panels have good integrity. The floor pan and rockers are in good shape, the previous owner had seats and roll bar that mount directly to the floor pan (had Recaro sport seats) and when I replaced the seats there were small holes that were not filled and remain open. This has not caused any issue but could be filled if the next buyer wished. The suspension work was completed by Midwest Eurosport and they replaced any components and “lubed” up the bushings, which can squeak at time and with no soundproofing can be heard at times. Less than 15k miles have been put on the car since this work was done. The turbo tie rod rubber covers are falling apart and should be replaced at some point, but does not effect the functionality. The car can be seen in Chicago (Lakeview) if you are interested in taking a look. Let me know if this answers all your questions. Thanks.
@garyklein911 the car has not been weighed, but guessing close to 2,000 lbs.
What is weight of car?
Brian,
What is the condition of the rockers, floor, front pan regarding rust? Can you confirm the details on the suspension rebuild, all bushes replaced? Regarding the rebuild can you confirm the extent of the rebuild?
Lastly Is the car available to be inspected in person, I'm in Barrington.
@Leonardway Hi, thanks for your questions. The car for several years was a track toy until I had kids and then the track days are now a distant horizon. It has not seen the track for 8-9 years, was repainted about five years ago. When the engine was rebuilt about 2008 the timing chains, distributor and wires were replaced. Anything that needed replacement at that time was done, which included some of the hoses but not all of them. They are all is good condition at this point. The car is kept in a heated garage and has never been driven in rain or freezing temps and once the weather turns it hibernates in the garage as I don’t take any risk with salted roads. The tires were replaced this spring and have less than 500 miles on them. Not sure of the tread measurement but they look brand new. The car is a beast to drive and shifts well with the short shifter. Happy to answer any other questions. Thanks Brian
@Chitownbrian When were all of the noted modifications made? How old are the timing belt, hoses, distributor cables, and tires? What is the remaining tread life? Is this primarily track or street oriented? Thanks.
@Thesilverfox Hello Pcar community. This is Brian from Chicago. Happy to answer any questions about my 911. Let me know if there is anything I can add or answer about it. Thanks for looking.

Saw this 911 a few weeks ago in person. The Club Blau paint is stunning in person, looks fantastic on older 911. Car sounded great too! Good luck to the seller and buyer.
