Up for auction is this 1973 Porsche 911 T Targa. First introduced in 1967, the Porsche Targa is celebrated for its innovative design that blends aspects from both a coupe and convertible 911, providing an incredibly visceral driving experience. This specific example boasts a 43 year ownership, a clean bill of health, proper documentation, and over $15k in recent restoration work. Being a California car for most of its life, this Targa is said to be completely rust-free and is being offered in excellent condition by the current seller out of Naples, FL.
Still retaining its factory original Light Ivory paint, the car is stated to be in very good condition few areas of patina. Overall, the paint shines beautifully and all body panels are straight with proper gaps. All brightwork along with the original glass and very rare chrome wheel arch trimming is clean and free of any nicks, cracks, or scratches. This Targa was special ordered with the desirable 911 S package, providing an OEM 911 S steel front bumper, upgraded brake calipers, and a set of Koni shocks. This gives the car a truly eye-catching look along with enhanced performance. Currently installed, are factory 15-inch Fuchs wheels that wear a set of period correct Michelin tires.
This elegant and iconic 911 interior is the beneficiary of a complete restoration performed by Autobahn Interiors earlier this year. All areas of the interior are in exceptional condition and all functions are in working order including the special ordered 911 S gauges.
Power comes from a numbers matching 2.4L flat-six engine that is connected to a coveted 5-speed 915 manual gearbox. This engine/transmission combination provides a classic 911 driving experience that is so praised among Porsche enthusiasts. This engine was professionally rebuilt with updated Carrera tensioners, giving the next owner complete peace of mind. The car is stated to be in excellent running condition.
The sale will include original manuals, toolkit, keys, and service records since 1973.

@Eknoors Our understanding is that only a couple of items are listed on the COA from that S package (Koni Shocks and Stabilizer bars) But the vehicle is physically equipped with an S steel front spoiler, S front Brake Calipers, S Front and Rear sway bars, S Koni shocks. Along with no evidence of any of these items ever being installed after the fact on any of the substantial service records.

Thanks for the extra info and pictures provided. Can you please explain your claim that the car was originally ordered with an S package, including bumper and gauges? How does this show from the COA?
The seller's documentation showed 67k miles, however, upon receiving further documentation from previous ownership, the seller has informed us that there was a clerical error and the mileage is actually 167k. Additional documentation and photos have been added to the listing.
