We are pleased to present this beautifully presented 1973 Porsche 911 T coupe finished in Sepia Brown over a brown vinyl interior. Highlighting a fully rebuilt engine and transmission, this number’s matching 1973 example has been treated to over $50k worth of mechanical restoration to bring it up to the exceptional standard we see today. Featuring the coveted long-hood configuration, this rare and thoroughly documented 911 T is now being offered for auction in outstanding overall condition showing approximately 72k miles on the odometer.
This 911 T is finished in its correct factory color of Sepia Brown. Upon the current owner’s purchase, the car was professionally color sanded and polished in order to restore depth and luster to its paint. The car is said to retain a large amount of its original finish and is shown to remain in excellent condition, detailed images are provided in the photo gallery. Possessing the quintessential vintage 911 look, this T showcases chrome exterior trim, pop-out rear windows and factory Fuchs wheels which come wrapped in Falken Sincera tires.
Autobahn Interiors was commissioned to refresh this 911’s Brown vinyl upholstered cabin with a new carpeting kit and reconditioned front seats. The seller notes the interior to be in phenomenal shape for its age with all gauges, electrical components and accessories fully functional.
This 911 carries its original air-cooled 2.4 L CIS fuel-injected flat-six engine which is mated to a numbers matching 5-speed manual gearbox. A full ground-up engine and transmission rebuild was carried out along with a complete overhaul of the suspension and braking systems at a cost of over $50k. Having only traveled a few hundred miles since the completion of the work, this 911 is said to be in excellent running order.
The sale of this 911 T will include a set of two keys, original books and accessories, a clear title and comprehensive service records dating back to 1974. Included documentation cites the original purchase agreement from Mozart Porsche Audi as well as multiple previous registrations from throughout the car’s life. If you have been on the hunt for an air-cooled 911 with classic Porsche styling, this beautifully presented long-hood 1973 example just might be the one.

@joefrantz We believe the shroud was changed when the engine was overhauled
Great car! I've never seen a 73 1/2 CIS car with a yellow engine shroud. They’re usually black.
Do you know if this is original, or was it changed at some point?

Rear valance (sheet metal between rear bumpers) appears to be dented- both next to right and left bumpers.
