Available for auction is this 1973 Honda CB360G Cafe Racer finished in metallic dark green with a brown vinyl seat. The successor to Honda’s popular CB350, the CB360 gained a slightly larger engine and came equipped with a 6-speed transmission. This 1974 example was acquired by the seller in August 2022 and was modified in a cafe racer style while under previous ownership. Upgrades include a modified frame, custom tail section, LED lighting, 18” chrome wheels, a solo seat, a custom speedometer, and much more. Having been serviced earlier in 2022, this custom CB360G is now being offered for auction by its seller out of New York.

This CB360G comes finished in a custom shade of metallic dark green with brown accents and a modified black from. The cafe racer conversion is said to have been carried out by a shop in Montana and included a custom fiberglass tail section, bump seat, and a chopped chrome front fender. Additional equipment includes LED tail and brake lights, upgraded turn signals, a side stand, clip-on handlebars, bar-end mirrors, aluminum rear-set foot controls, a rear axle license plate bracket, and a replacement chrome headlight bucket. The seat is upholstered in brown vinyl and the bike rides on chrome wire-spoke 18″ wheels dressed in a newer set of Duro tires. The seller notes that the Shorai lithium-ion battery and wiring have been relocated to the tail section and that minor scratches can be seen on some chrome and aluminum parts.

Power comes from a 356cc SOHC parallel-twin engine fitted with twin Keihin carburetors. While under previous ownership, the engine was reportedly fitted with new pistons, gaskets, kick and electric starters, a Pamco electronic ignition with an automatic timing advancer, stainless-steel hex head engine fasteners, K&N pod air filters, and dual-wrapped headers with shorty reverse-cone megaphone mufflers. The rear wheel is driven by a 6-speed transmission. Stopping power is provided by a front disc rear drum setup, while the suspension consists of a telescopic fork with twin chrome shocks mounted to the swingarm. An upgraded brake master cylinder and stainless-steel lines have been fitted. Service under previous ownership includes new throttle and clutch cables, drive chain, fuel petcock, and spark plugs, as well as adjustment of the cam chain tension, ignition timing, valve clearances, and synchronizing of the carburetors.
