Finished in green over a wicker interior, this 1973 Fiat 500 is said to have been completely refurbished and converted to a “Jolly” body in Poland in 2020 before being imported to the United States in 2021. Deviating from the traditional styling of the classic Fiat 500, the Jolly variant of the 500 features a doorless open-air design and removable fabric canopy roof. This Italian microcar underwent a full frame-off restoration in the last 150 kilometers (approximately 100 miles) and is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Connecticut.
This Fiat 500 was refinished in its current shade of blue during its restoration and converted to a Jolly model in 2020. Details include chrome tubular bumpers, a blue and white surrey top with fringe, brightwork, side-mounted grab rails, and 12” wheels with polished hubcaps that are dressed in Passio Debica tires. A collection of detailed images are provided in the gallery.
The interior presents wicker front bucket seats and a matching rear bench along with a body-color dashboard panel, a body-color shifter top, and a body-color two-spoke steering wheel that frames a 120 km/h speedometer. A black-finished center console and matching carpeting cover the floor. All gauges and accessories are reported to be functioning properly.
This Fiat is powered by a 499cc air-cooled inline-twin cylinder engine, which sends power to the rear wheels through a 4-speed manual transmission. The seller states this Fiat underwent a full frame-off restoration within the last 150 kilometers and indicates there are no outstanding maintenance items.
This sale will include a transferrable registration.
The seller would like you to know: “Fun little Jolly here. Fully restored in Poland in 2020 and shipped here in 2021. Lightly driven since then and always stored indoors.”
