Among the third generation of Dodge’s A-body platform, this 1973 Dodge Dart Sport has undergone a comprehensive frame-off restoration. Powered by a Mopar 340ci small-block V8 paired with a 4-speed manual transmission, the car has been refinished in High-Impact Lime Green over a black vinyl interior. It comes equipped with performance enhancements, including an Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold, headers, a Flowmaster dual exhaust system with Pypes outlets, front power disc brakes, power steering, a functional hood scoop, 17” American Racing wheels, bucket seats, a Hurst shifter, and more. This tastefully restored Dart is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Pennsylvania.

As part of its comprehensive restoration, this example was refinished in High-Impact Lime Green with a black stripe running from the hood to the trunk. Exterior features include a functional dual-scoop hood, body-colored front and rear bumpers, a chrome driver-side mirror, dual taillights with body-colored bezels, and rectangular dual exhaust outlets. It rides on black-finished 17” American Racing alloy wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich g-Force COMP-2 tires. Detailed images are provided in the gallery.

The interior has been fully restored with new carpeting and reupholstered seating surfaces, featuring front bucket seats and a rear bench trimmed in black vinyl along with matching door panels, dashboard, and a center fold-down armrest. It has a three-spoke steering wheel, a Hurst shifter, auxiliary gauges, and manual windows. All gauges and electronics are reported to be in proper working order.

Power comes from a Mopar 340ci small-block V8 engine featuring an Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold, headers, and a Flowmaster dual exhaust system with Pypes tips. The rear wheels are driven through a 4-speed manual transmission. Additional equipment includes power steering and front power disc brakes. The seller notes that the car retains its matching-numbers engine.

This sale will include a clean title.

The seller would like you to know: “This car has been completely restored and is absolutely pristine. It runs and drives fantastic. Bid with confidence.”

I just wanted to thank everyone for watching my auction for my 1973 Dodge Dart Sport. If anyone has any questions please feel free to ask. I want everyone to know how clean this car is. The paint is flawless even in the engine compartment. The interior is also pristine.

@Painlss85 That's how the car came from the factory when the car was new. Who ever restored this car left the underneath like that on purpose. That's how it came from the factory. You are welcome to get a PPI done on this car if you are concerned.

I have one more question...If you look closely at the undercarriage of the car where the driveshaft and rear mufflers are shown, on the left side of the picture the lower sill of the car (green portion) does not meet the metal flange very closely. There clearly is a gap between the two for a distance whereas on the opposite side of the car the metal flange is intimate with the sill and appears to be either spot welded or welded in its entirety along the sill so the two meet and are intimate with each other. Can you please elaborate on that? why the difference? What is the one connected and the other not? should there be a connection? Please advise. Thank you

I just wanted everyone to know that this is a 1973 Dodge Dart Sport. It was listed as just a 1973 Dodge Dart. I just had Pcarmarket.com make the change. Sorry for the confusion.

@Painlss85 The engine was completely overhauled and had a mild cam installed. It also has new rings, pistons, and the Heads were overhauled. This car was completely restored and looks brand new. The body is absolutely pristine with no paint damage at all. The only flaw on the body is the 2 marker lights in the grille have some small cracks in them. The interior is also pristine and has been completely restored. Even the paint in the engine compartment is pristine.

@Painlss85 This car sits very low to the ground and it must have bottomed out. This is a very inexpensive fix. If you wanted to buy new headers for this car it would cost $300 for the parts. There are no holes in the exhaust. This does not affect the performance of the car.

  • Painlss85 (registered bidder) 2 monthsago

Another question... when you say "fully restored" does that include the motor as well or just the body, windows and interior? The odometer shows 91Kmiles. did you do any refresh to the motor and if so, what please? thank you. I'm very interested in the car but I need to have these questions answered.

  • Painlss85 (registered bidder) 2 monthsago

after closely looking at all the pictures, the headers on the right side of the picture shows a very huge scrape on two tube, flattening them out as well as possibly causing a hole in the worst one. Please explain how this happened and if it can be repaired or do the headers on that side have to be replaced?

@Painlss85 It’s a 1967 Chevy Camaro RS SS. It’s actually going to be up for auction on Pcarmarket.com within the next week so please keep a lookout. It’s also been completely restored.

  • Painlss85 (registered bidder) 2 monthsago

how much for the 69 Camaro SS in the garage?

  • emltd (seller) 2 months, 1 weekago
