This 1973 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 Type LT is reported to have undergone extensive modifications under previous ownership including the installation of a 350ci Turbo-Fire V8. The engine has been overbored and upgraded with a performance camshaft, electronic fuel pump, MSD ignition system, aluminum radiator, Summit Racing aluminum cylinder heads, and a dual exhaust system have been incorporated. The powertrain is coupled with a Tremec five-speed manual transmission. The exterior is refinished in Green with black stripes, complemented by a Green interior. The car boasts additional features such as a limited-slip differential with a Moser Engineering cover, 15″ Billet Specialties wheels, Wilwood front brakes, a Hotchkis 2″ suspension lowering kit, front and rear spoilers, a Kenwood CD stereo, and a Hurst shifter. Notably, the car had spent time in California and Florida before its relocation to Canada, where it was acquired by the current owner in 2023.
Originally painted in Light Green with a green vinyl roof, the car is said to have been refinished approximately 30 years ago. The exterior showcases black stripes on the hood, rear deck, and spoiler. It rides on Billet Specialties 15″ wheels featuring 205/70 Uniroyal Tiger Paw tires in the front and 275/60 Nitto NT550R Extreme Drag tires in the rear. Additionally, the sale includes a set of 15″ five-spoke wheels finished in black with 235/60 BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. Noteworthy features include a front spoiler, body-color side mirrors, chrome bumpers, and quad-recessed round taillights. Detailed images are provided in the gallery.
The interior reportedly underwent a refresh in the 1980s including new Green cloth and vinyl upholstery applied to the front and rear seats. The dashboard and doors feature woodgrain veneer, and additional interior details include a Kenwood CD stereo, a Hurst shifter, and a Tremec black cueball-style shift knob. The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 130-mph speedometer, a fuel-level gauge, and indicator lights for coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage.
The Turbo-Fire V8 was reportedly overbored to 355ci and received performance enhancements such as an aftermarket camshaft, an electronic fuel pump, and Summit Racing aluminum cylinder heads. The engine is equipped with additional features including an electronic MSD ignition system, an aluminum radiator, and a dual exhaust system with 3” piping. Braking performance has been improved with the addition of Wilwood brakes featuring drilled and slotted rotors with two-piston calipers at the front. The seller notes the replacement of rear drums under current ownership. The car also benefits from a Hotchkis 2” suspension drop kit which includes shocks, springs, frame connectors, leaf springs, and sway bars.
This sale will include a Camaro Restoration Handbook, a spare 15″ wheelset, spare parts, and Ontario registration.

This a unique Camaro in that it was ordered as an LT (Luxury Trim) but had the factory Z28 package added.
It was originally ordered with A/C which was removed and is included in the sale.
Originally a southern U.S vehicle it is completely rust free.
The engine has been extensively upgraded using the original block which has been bored out.
The transmission was professionally upgraded with a 5 speed Tremec unit.
The entire suspension system was upgraded as well as the rims and tires with the original Rally wheels included in the sale.

Good morning just over 6 hours till the auction ends. I will be near a computer all day to answer any questions. I also wanted to re-state just how incredible this car is. If you haven't already looked at all the videos please do. Especially the undercarriage. The previous owner was super meticulous older gentleman and spared no expense on this car. I drove this car from his home to our shop in the fall and it was absolutely amazing to drive with the 5 speed Tremec transmission. Tons of power and geared just right. I guarantee the next owner will be very happy with this car.

I've received a few messages about shipping to the U.S. It's very straightforward for this car. I charge no sales tax to U.S buyers. There are 3 Customs forms to be completed at the border. No duties are required for this North American built vehicle and it is exempt from all DOT requirements as it's over 25 years old. Once the car arrives at your State, you obtain a Title using my dealership Bill of Sale along with the Ontario, Canada registration. You would then be responsible for paying your State sales tax on the amount indicated on the bill of sale.
Interesting fact about this particular car is that in the 1980’s owned by Ron Sessions, an automotive writer for Road and Track, Car and Driver as well as the co-author of The Camaro Restoration Handbook. Ron bought this car in Arizona and had a bare metal repaint done as well as a full interior refurbishment with oem GM parts. Some of this work is featured in the handbook which I bought to go with the car.
