Based on the Lancia Fulvia Coupe, the Fulvia Sport is a two-seater performance model built by Zagato featuring a more aerodynamic fastback body. This 1972 Lancia Fulvia Sport 1.3S is said to be one of 2,600 Series II examples produced between 1970 and 1973 and is finished in Rosso San Siro. It was first registered in Sardinia and was acquired by the previous owner in 2017 who commissioned a full restoration by the specialists at Carrozzeria Valtenesi of Brescia, Italy. This classic Italian sports car is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Florida.
The Fulvia Sport features unique fastback bodywork designed by Ercole Spada at Zagato which is characterized by smooth and curvaceous lines, a vented bonnet, a sloping rear window, a prominent chrome grille, and triple air inlets on the lower front valence. This example comes finished in Rosso San Siro and features chrome trim, integrated front fog lights, a polished driver’s side mirror, an electrically-operated rear hatch, Zagato “Z” fender badges, front & rear bumper deletes, and 14” Cromodora alloy wheels dressed in 185/70 Falken FK-07U tires. Additional images are provided in the gallery.
The restored interior features black leatherette upholstery with matching rubber floor lining and a woodgrain dashboard fascia. Accessories include a three-spoke steering wheel, low-back bucket seats, lap belts, manual window cranks, a locking glovebox, a heater, an analog quartz clock, and Veglia Borletti instrument dials.
The Fulvia Sport 1.3S came equipped with a 1.3-liter Lancia V4 DOHC engine that delivers up to 92 HP to the rear wheels by way of a 5-speed manual transaxle. Mechanical features include dual Solex carburetors and four-wheel disc brakes. The seller indicates a complete restoration was completed at Carrozzeria Valtenesi in 2017 and the car has been driven approximately 2k kilometers since.
This sale will include a clean title.

@Cgt000 - I looked in some Lancia forums and read that sometimes 2nd series Fulvia’s will ride a bit high, especially at the front end, after brand new, standard height rubber “blocks” are replaced under the cross mounted leaf spring (aka “crossbow”). If this is the case for this car, the ride height will eventually settle over time. Or shorter than standard rubber blocks can also be purchased for a lower front end ride height. The rear ride height can be taken care of also. Since I purchased this car as listed I cannot comment if this in fact the cause or resolution.

@eurocol Thank you for your inquiry. I am not sure about your question on height. The vehicle is the exact way I purchased in Italy and imported.

@TFerrer Thanks for looking. No there is no issues with transmission or shifter popping out of gear. This is the drivers driving habit. The car is stored in an off-site climate controlled showroom. I cannot do another video but will guarantee that there is no hidden issue. In business since 1986.

Not sure if it's a strange driving style or a gearbox that won't stay in gear but the driver never takes his hand from the gear lever and appears to be pulling to keep it in gear. Be nice to see a video without the constant presence of the drivers hand on the gear shift...Looks to be a very nice car otherwise

Good Afternoon PCarMarket Community,
Here is some history from the seller.
"LANCIA FULVIA SPORT ZAGATO 1,3 S This Lancia Fulvia Sport 1,3 S series II, is one of the 2.600 items produced from 1970 to 1973 on a total of about 6.500 Lancia Fulvia Zagato produced from 1965 to 1973. The Fulvia Zagato was based on the mechanicals of the Lancia Fulvia Coupé. About 140.000 Fulvia Coupé were produced from 1965 to 1976. Actually this 1,3 S (1300 cc V4 – DOHC – 90,7 HP at 6000 rpm) was the most powerful serial 1,3 engine produced by Lancia and probably the most powerful 1,3 serial engine produced in the world. For instance, a BMW 1602 at this time produced 85 HP and the BMW 2002 100 HP. The popular VW Beetle 1300 produced 40 HP. Some parts of the body are in aluminium. In this case only the engine hood. This series II has a 5 speeds gearbox The light alloy metal wheels were an expensive original Lancia optional. The orange colour N° LS10259Z (called “Rosso San Siro”) was the most appreciated colour for the Fulvia Zagato at this time. HISTORY OF THIS LANCIA FULVIA SPORT ZAGATO type 818650 – Body n° 003387 - Produced in 1972 in Rho close to Milano - First registration (first owner) in Cagliari Sardigna Italy the 18 August 1972. Italian registration n° CA204346 - The car has been bought in 2015 by a here famous vintage cars dealer in Roncadelle close to Brescia Italy See www. luzzago.com I bought the car from them in January 2017 - Then, the car has been completely restored (mechanicals and body) by a vintage car specialised office. See www.carrozzeriavaltenesi.com - I have used the car only for exhibitions and vintage cars meetings (about 2000 km in 5 years) by nice weather only."
