Now available is this concours-grade 1971 Porsche 911T finished in Tangerine over a black leatherette interior with factory Recaro Sport Seats. Remaining highly original and in exceptional condition, this 1971 911T earned 1st in class at the 2019 PCA Boca Porsche Parade with a score of 297.6 out of 300 points possible. An upgraded 2.4L 911S engine has been rebuilt and installed at a cost of over $35k, and the original numbers-matching 2.2L engine is also included. A truly impeccable example with 56k miles shown, this 911T is now being offered by its private seller in Florida accompanied by extensive records, documentation, and a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity.
Reported to have always been garage kept and fastidiously maintained, the Tangerine finish on this 911 is said to be all original and in exemplary concours condition (detailed images are provided in the photo gallery). The factory optional “Comfort Kit” features 911S-type trim including gold rear model lettering, 911S rubber moldings, chrome rocker panels, and rubber bumperette overriders. The original Fuchs wheels have also been professionally refurbished and dressed in new Bridgestone Potenza tires.
Inside, the black leatherette interior has been preserved in excellent condition and the seller reports that the dashboard was previously replaced. Factory features include leather Recaro Sport Seats, air conditioning, tinted glass, and a Blaupunkt “Frankfurt” radio. The Comfort Kit also adds 911S-type instrument gauges, velour carpeting, aluminum door sills, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. The original radio remains fully functional and the air conditioning system has been fully serviced and updated to use R134 refrigerant.
This 911T has been fitted with a 2.4L flat-six fuel-injected 911S engine which is said to have undergone a concours-level professional rebuild at a cost of over $35k. The original 5-speed manual gearbox sends approximately 180 HP to the rear wheels. Documentation is included for the engine rebuild and the original numbers-matching 50k-mile 2.2 L engine is also included with freshly rebuilt carburetors. Approximately 6k miles have been driven on the rebuilt 911S engine and this example is said to be in fantastic operating condition with a comprehensive history of service.
This sale will include a set of 2 keys, the original manuals and maintenance books with the original owner’s name, a copy of the original title, extensive records, original tools, and a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity. This outstanding concours-grade 911T makes an ideal selection for any highly discerning enthusiast.

@doctorrgwdc I doubt $68K is all in for a car in this condition. This is a extremely clean car that is very near to perfection. I think it will take a bit more to take it home. GLWTA!

@PCARMARKET how do we know if and when a reserve has been met? It would make bidding on an item easier.
Video content has been added to the listing

Bid in the amount of $41,000
@ruffswim I sent them a video (I think). I hope they will put it on.
I would think that you would want to
look at it in person, or send someone by anyway. There won't be anything negative either way.
Jerry
@356Man 74 is not old! Thanks for trying. Most of us looking at these cars are north of 60. Cheers! Steve
@ruffswim I'm 74 I'll try to figure it out. There's no better running car out there.
@356Man Anyway you could post a video of a cold start and the car while driving and shifting it and a walk around? Thanks, Steve

@DriverM great it's been in my A.C. garage since I bought it from my friends widow. But remember this car is not just a nice driver (although it's great to dive).........it's not going to be cheap.

@356Man Thanks Jerry. I love this car. I'm going to do my best to stick it in my garage.
@DriverM No, but could get them. The car IS original paint. I'll try to do today.
Jerry
@DriverM Sorry for the typos. It's early......... Paint and car.........not pant and cat!!!!
Bid in the amount of $37,000
Do you have pant meter readings that would be consistent with an original paint cat? Can you post them?
Bid in the amount of $35,000
to 9146max
yes you can come look at it as long as you give me a heads-up. BTW the car used to live in Sarasota.
Belonged to Jess Yarger( passed away)
Bid in the amount of $30,000
Hi,
I hope everyone loves this car as much as much as I
do. I'm 74 and it's time to thin the herd, I don't the time or the health to give my car's the attention they deserve any longer. This car is probably the best example you will find anywhere at this time.
This is a very honest car in every way, with absolutely no surprises. It would make the perfect center piece for anyone's collection. This IS NOT just a nice driver.
Bid with confidence.
