We are pleased to present this custom-built 1971 Porsche 911T finished in Albert Blue over a Signal Orange leather interior. Starting life out as a standard long hood 911T, this 1971 example has undergone an extensive custom restoration transforming it into something truly unique. This 911 showcases revised styling, steel fender flares and a fully reupholstered cabin as well as a period-correct 2.2 L flat-six engine. Having had its engine completely rebuilt in 2017 with very few miles added since, this beautifully executed 911T is ready to be enjoyed by its next owner.
Commissioned in 2014, this 911T was professionally refinished in its highly desirable original color of Albert Blue. The finish is stated to be in excellent condition, detailed images are provided in the photo gallery. Custom features include larger steel fender flares, Signal Orange “Porsche” side decals, color-matched rear bumperettes and a revised RS-style front bumper. This 911 rides on Braid RSR style wheels which come dressed in Hoosier slick tires. The seller notes that a set of street tires may be included at a reasonable cost at the winning bidders request.
Inside, the cabin has been completely reupholstered in Signal Orange Italian imported leather at a cost of over $4k. Unique details include hard back bucket seats from GTS Classics, RS-style leather door cards and a MOMO steering wheel. A black finished roll bar has also been equipped along with black 4-point harnesses. The seller states that the dashboard has been replaced and confirms the interior to be in pristine condition with all gauges and accessories remaining fully functional.
This 911T carries a 1970 sourced 2.2 L flat flat-six carbureted engine which sends power to the rear wheels by way of a 901 5-speed manual transmission. Performance upgrades include JE high compression pistons, an MSD ignition control box, an upgraded chain tensioner kit and lowered Bilstein suspension. In 2017 a full engine rebuild was carried out along with some other mechanical maintenance at a cost of over $16k. The odometer currently displays approximately 77k miles although the true mileage is unknown. Stated to have been barely driven since the engine rebuild, this 911T is said to be in fantastic running order.

CORRECTION ON THE MOTOR SPECS: Upon reviewing the rebuild receipts and speaking to the engine builders, the motor has been upgraded with E CAMS and JE High Compression Pistons, resulting in more engine power.
