We are pleased to present this 1971 Porsche 911T Targa finished in Gemini Blue Metallic over a black interior. A California car, this 1971 example remains in outstanding overall condition with a comprehensive collection of records. Having undergone over $30k worth of mechanical restoration over the past 5 years, this 911 highlights a fully rebuilt 2.2L engine and is now being offered for auction showing approximately 88k miles on the odometer.
This Targa has been refinished in its factory specified color of Gemini Blue Metallic. The exterior is shown to be in excellent condition with all trim, molding and seals said to remain in great shape. Detailed images are provided in the photo gallery. Features include a distinct silver Targa bar with curved rear glass and factory alloy Fuchs wheels which come dressed in period-correct Michelin all season tires.
This 911’s black interior is stated to be phenomenal shape with the only one minor crack in the dashboard. All gauges, electrical components and accessories are stated to be fully functional. The cabin has been refreshed with new front seats and carpeting, while the original dashboard and rear seats have been retained. Some noteworthy details include an aftermarket Momo steering wheel, Porsche crested shift knob and an upgraded Alpine stereo unit.
A recently rebuilt 2.2L carbureted flat-six engine sends approximately 125 HP to the rear wheels by way of a smooth 5-speed manual 901 transmission. A logbook kept between the years 1988 and 2008 shows routine oil changes, regularly scheduled service and even gas fill-ups and their respective costs. The seller indicates that the transmission and other mechanical components have also been checked over and refreshed in preparation for sale. This 911 is being offered in excellent, ready-to-drive condition.
The sale of this 911T will include a set of two keys, original books and accessories, service records, tools, a spare tire, car cover and clear title. A timelessly beautiful 911 offered with extensive documentation and a clean bill of health, this Targa makes the perfect choice for a passionate air-cooled Porsche enthusiast.

@carsinc that sounds like a serious endorsement for this beauty. You're suggesting there may be wind noise? IF
@carsinc speaking from someone who's actually driven the car, there is no wind noise from the top. Thanks for your input though. Hopefully the next owner will mostly enjoy driving this car with the top off.
The top is in below average condition for inner reinforcement was not replaced and incorrect, padding was use, too thick. This will cause wind noise and detracts from overall quality of car. It is a shame for this appears to be a very nice car.
