Manufactured from 1959 until 2002, the General Motors C/K series of trucks were offered in a wide range of configurations and marketed by both the Chevrolet and GMC companies. This 1971 example is a Chevrolet K10 4x4 fleetside pickup which was refurbished under prior ownership between 2015 and 2016. It has been refinished in a blue metallic color over a custom white vinyl interior and features a replacement 350ci V8 engine with dual four-barrel Edelbrock carburetors as well as a 4-speed automatic transmission, a dual-range transfer case, Warn locking front hubs, a Dana 60 front differential, an Eaton rear differential, power steering and brakes, polished 18” alloy wheels, air conditioning, an Autosound cassette stereo, and more. Driven approximately 6k miles since the completion of the refurbishment, this K10 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of California.
This K10 was refinished in the current blue metallic color with custom pinstriping during the refurbishment under prior ownership. Equipment includes chrome bumpers, running boards, dual mirrors, a sliding rear window, a fender-mounted antenna, an oak wood bed, and polished 18” alloy wheels dressed in Toyo A/T Open Country tires measuring 325/65. The cabin is lined with blue carpeting and features white vinyl upholstery covering the split bench seat, door panels, and headliner. Accessories include a body-colored dashboard, power windows and door locks, lap belts, air conditioning, front vent windows, a four-spoke chrome steering wheel, and a retro-style Autosound pushbutton AM/FM cassette stereo with an AUX input.
This K10 is powered by a replacement 350ci V8 engine featuring Corvette valve covers and dual four-barrel Edelbrock carburetors. All four wheels are driven through a 4-speed automatic transmission with a dual-range transfer case, a Dana 60 front differential, and an Eaton rear differential. Other features include Warn manually locking front hubs, dual fabricated fuel tanks, power steering, and power-assisted brakes with front discs and rear drums.
