Introduced in 1967 as a replacement for the Guilia Sprint GT Veloce, the Alfa Romeo 1750 GT Veloce featured a larger twin-cam 1779cc engine producing 120 HP along with SPICA fuel injection, revised suspension tuning, larger front brakes, new styling, and a modified interior. This 1971 example is said to have been a lifelong California car acquired by the seller in 2021 from its third owner of nearly 40 years. Finished in silver over a reupholstered back interior, this GTV received a rebuilt cylinder head in 2021, a rebuilt transmission in 2022, a new clutch, an Imasaf exhaust system, and aftermarket shocks and springs. Accompanied by comprehensive maintenance documentation from the previous owner, this Alfa Romeo is now being offered for auction out of British Columbia, Canada.
The Bertone-designed bodywork was refinished in the factory silver color in 2009. Equipment includes dual side mirrors, quad headlights, chrome trim, pop-out rear windows, and Quadrifoglio badges on the C-pillars. The 14” Alfaholics GTA-style wheels are mounted with Kumho Solus TA11 tires. The paintwork is described to have been executed to a very high standard and the seller notes only minor rock chips are present.
The cabin features re-upholstered front and rear seats with matching door panels, black carpeting, and wood trim spanning the dashboard and center console. Features include front shoulder belts, manual windows, auxiliary Jaeger instrumentation, and a three-spoke steering wheel. The dash pad and headliner were replaced under previous ownership.
The GTV is powered by a 1,779cc twin-cam four-cylinder engine with SPICA fuel injection, factory rated at 120 HP and 137 lb.-ft of torque. The rear wheels are driven by way of a 5-speed manual transmission. The engine received a rebuilt cylinder head in 2021, and the transmission was rebuilt in 2022 with a new clutch cylinder and rebalanced driveshaft. An upgraded Imasaf exhaust system along with aftermarket shocks and springs were also fitted under prior ownership. Maintenance records detailing service over the past 38 years are said to accompany the sale.
This sale will include owner’s manuals, a toolkit, and service records.

Hi! Car was imported in Canada from USA and the customs officer said there are no taxes for Canada as they have been paid when car was imported in USA originally. Probably Canada has an agreement with USA on this. I have paid only my state taxes that I would pay when buying locally. Now if you reimport your USA should be no duties because car was originally from there. Probably will be just your state taxes, like you pay when buying locally. But please check with USA Border Services and your state rules. Thank you!
Can you briefly comment on any issues related to delivery and duty percentages to the US? These are lovely cars to own and drive when properly sorted. I have been without one for many years now, but have wonderful memories.
