Refinished in Signal Yellow over a reupholstered black leather and Pepita cloth interior, this 1970 Porsche 911T Coupe underwent comprehensive modifications and refinements by reputable Porsche specialists throughout California following its acquisition by the seller in 2014. Presenting steel rear fender flares, a 911S-style front bumper, and much more, the build also includes a 3.2-liter flat-six engine with Bosch mechanical fuel injection, GT2 102 camshafts, a 5-speed 915 manual transaxle, limited-slip differential, SSI heat exchangers, a fender-mounted oil cooler, and various additional modifications. Accompanied by a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity and additional documentation, this unique long-hood 911 is available for auction out of Pennsylvania.
Originally specified in Albert Blue with Karmann bodywork, this example was stripped to bare metal and fitted with a replacement hood, front fenders, decklid, rear bumper, and floor pan. It features modifications including Porsche Classic-derived RS quarter panels with metal flares and a 911S-style front bumper, complete with a Signal Yellow respray by John Esposito at EspoResto. Black Porsche lettering adorns the rear decklid, and additional details include chrome trim, H4 headlights, a polished driver’s side mirror, and pop-out rear quarter windows. The car is equipped with staggered-width 15” Fuchs alloy wheels, refinished by Weidman’s Wheels during the build and wrapped in new Avon tires. A collection of images is provided in the gallery.
The cabin features reupholstered black leather with Pepita cloth-trimmed sport seats, providing adjustments for both fore-and-aft positioning and seat bottom tilt. The equipment also includes a MOMO steering wheel, RS-style door panels, rebuilt VDO instrumentation, and replacement black carpets. The seller states the 5-digit odometer was reset to zero during the build, and the speedometer was repaired in 2021.
Power is delivered by a rebuilt 3.0-liter flat-six engine sourced from a 911SC and modified to displace 3.2 liters, incorporating 98mm CP pistons, GT2 102 camshafts, and a Burnham Performance-installed Bosch mechanical fuel injection system. An Elephant Racing front fender-mounted oil cooler further enhances performance. The rear wheels are driven through a 5-speed 915 manual transaxle, which was rebuilt with replacement synchros in 2018, along with a rebuilt limited-slip differential. Additional mechanical modifications include SSI heat exchangers, a Dansk muffler, 21mm and 28mm torsion bars, an RSR-style strut brace, Rebel S Racing RSR-style front and rear suspension bushings, RSR-style semi-solid upper strut mounts, Turbo tie rods, an adjustable bump steer kit, hollow front and rear sway bars, Tarett Engineering drop links, custom front shocks, and Bilstein rear shocks.
This sale will include a clean title, a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, and additional documentation.
The seller would like you to know: "This car is a true nut and bolt restoration done in Southern California to be able to access all of the best specialty builders (Esposito, Burnham, etc.). It is all sorted, serviced, and ready for your driving enjoyment. I had never driven a short stroke 3.2 with MFI. It has instant throttle response and lower-end torque feel vs. a stock SC motor, no comparison. The receipts total $195k. It would likely cost about $250k to build this today, and at least 3 years if you could assemble all of the talent. Why wait, enjoy this one next week!"

There is no rust on this car, you are seeing a bit of dirt accumulated in the corners on the gas fill.
Pic 44
The pic with the open fuel door, is that rust in the well?

First question...it's a dealer consignment....second, it's 46mm
It is a very nice built car! this engine is just so fun to drive and this is a nice old concept that will always work and keep the value! It is just perfect in my eyes, we built many of these engines on the 3,0 SC or 3.2 Carrera with MFI, and then you get 3.4 L with the 3,2 L start, just perfect with no light flywheel, and they are revving so fast what type of, clutch kit.? MFI bodies are probably drilled from 41-42 up to 46 mm, what is the head size on the out? towards heat exchanger? It sholud be nice with 42 mm! but the car is just a piece of art and built the old school way and the engine is done by somebody who knows these builds! just congrats.
So, may I ask, you had this car done for you, or you purchased it from the person that built it, or paid for the build? Thanks very much.
Very, VERY impressive.
@ronwangu sorry but it was not dynoed
What is the horsepower? Was it dynoed? I would have liked to see the HP/Torque curve. I wanted to get an idea of how it's top end performance is.
Beautiful 911T, high quality all around. She's going to make someone very happy. GTWA!
