@WORLD Good to hear the Santana has an all-synchro gearbox. I guess there is actually no heater installed (besides heated seats). Who did the restoration?

What is the acceptable cruising speed range? The driving video wasn’t that long or up to what may be 35mph? Assuming that 50-55mph is pushing it?

This is a nice Santana from Spain in a great color. I'm surprised PCM does not include the Santana brand in the description. I prefer the petrol engine (faster, quieter and less exhaust smoke than the diesel). Does this have the original Series IIA gearbox with non-synchro 1st and 2nd, or has it been updated to a full-synchro Series III gearbox? The shifting in the video looks quick and smooth. Where is the heater that is mentioned in the description? Never seen heated seats in a Series IIA. Do you know who did the restoration in Europe? They had good attention to detail but used pop-rivets (rather than hammer-head rivets) and covered all the spot welds with bondo. Nice folding step and custom spare tire rack on back, but the galvanized hand-holds on the chassis rear cross-member are missing.

@69Vairman This 88"-wheelbase 1970 example is said to have been restored in Europe before being imported to the U.S.
Is it not mandatory to meet the safety requirements of the year of the vehicle when importing into the US? From what I know, lap belts became mandatory in 1967 and should have been installed at time of import. Was this a grey market import?

@Petrolhead66 Thanks for question...yes you can add lap belts to front and rear. There are many companies which offer this and easy to install.
Hello- nice Land Rover- how do owners buckle up on these vehicles? Did not see lap belts? Can they be retrofitted for front seats?
