Making its debut in 1968, the third-generation Chevrolet El Camino was built until 1972, offered multiple powertrain options, and is known for its legendary Ute body style. This 1970 example was built during the fourth week of August at the Baltimore, Maryland assembly plant, and is powered by a 350ci V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission. Features include front disc brakes, power steering, power brakes, 14” Keystone wheels, a 12-bolt rear end, a dual exhaust system, bucket seats, a Hurst shifter, aftermarket gauges, and more. This El Camino is now being offered for auction by its seller out of New Jersey showing 65k miles on the odometer.
Finished in Fathom Blue (28), the El Camino features a rigid tonneau cover with strut supports, SS 350 badging, and quad headlights. Additional details include dual side mirrors, a drop-down tailgate, and dual exhaust outlets. Chrome bumpers and trim accent the body and surround the wheel arches. This Chevy rides on 14” five-spoke Keystone wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. Detailed images are provided in the gallery.
The cabin is upholstered in Medium Blue vinyl and includes bucket seats, along with a color-coordinated dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Equipment includes a dual-spoke steering wheel, a center console, a Hurst shifter, a retro-style push-button head unit with aftermarket speakers, a heater, and El Camino-branded rubber floor mats. A Sunpro Super Tach II has been fitted, along with a Sun oil pressure gauge, a Sunpro coolant temperature gauge, and a Sun ammeter.
Powered by a 350ci V8 accented with chrome “Chevrolet Power” valve covers and a 35 Turbo-Fire air cleaner label, the El Camino sends power to its rear wheels by way of a 4-speed manual transmission and a 12-bolt rear end. Equipment also includes power steering and power-assisted front disc and rear drum brakes.

The description states that the wheels are Cragar but it appears to me that the wheels are Keystone. The last time I saw a Keystone mag wheel was on my 1969 Roadrunner in 1969, which is a look I really like. The car is immaculate inside and the paint looks awesome. To top it off is a four speed console. It will be interesting to see where this goes. Nice looking car.
