This 1969 Porsche 912 Coupe has been extensively modified under the seller's ownership and features widened steel fender flares, 996 Turbo brakes, adjustable coilover suspension, a roll cage, bucket seats, and a rebuilt 915 manual transaxle. It derives power from a 3.2-liter flat-six engine featuring 46mm Weber carburetors, stainless steel headers, a Monty performance muffler, and upgraded oil coolers. It was acquired by the owner approximately 11 years ago and has been continually upgraded and maintained including a recent engine overhaul with rebuilt valves and new pistons rings. After some additional enhancements, this outlaw-style flat-six powered 912 is now being offered for auction once again on PCARMARKET by its owner out of California.
This 912 is finished in white contrasted with black “Porsche” side logos and features wide steel fender flares, a 911R-style engine grille and taillights, dual bullet-style mirrors, a dual-exit Monty muffler, a sunroof delete panel, and an RSR-style front bumper with a custom splitter and front-mounted oil cooler. Red Porsche 996 Turbo brake calipers are mounted behind aftermarket 17” black Fuchs-style wheels. The seller notes the hood, roof, and rear decklid have been repainted. Additional images are provided in the gallery.
The cabin has been stripped of carpeting and fitted with a full roll cage as well as a pair of Recaro seats with patterned inserts and a three-spoke MOMO steering wheel with a yellow 12 o’clock marker. Other features include tilted VDO gauges, Sabelt safety harnesses, RS-style door panels, a JVC Bluetooth stereo, a J. West shifter with a white-finished gear knob, and black carpeting. The seller indicates the clock is not wired.
Power comes from an air-cooled 3.2-liter flat-six from a 1984 911 Carrera. The engine has been upgraded with 46mm Weber carburetors, stainless-steel headers, a front-mounted oil cooler, and a 123Ignition distributor. The rear wheels are driven through a recently rebuilt 915 5-speed manual transaxle with 930 Turbo half shafts and flanges. The suspension includes Rebel Racing coilovers and adjustable aluminum trailing arms in the rear as well as JRZ front coilovers. The seller indicates an engine overhaul was completed within the last 3k miles including cleaned pistons, new piston rings, and a rebuilt valvetrain. Routine oil changes were also reportedly carried out every 5k miles.
This sale will include a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “With too many cars, it is time to sell this one.”

@912porsche I have a 69 912 in light ivory and i'm jealous. Nice build. PS 55 years old.
Interesting 912 build
I’m assuming, because it’s older than 1972, that there are no problems with Smog or California emissions, but would like that verified please
Also, does anyone else hear the ticking at the cold start and back up out of the garage?
