This 1969 Porsche 911T Coupe has been restored and modified featuring wide 930-style fender flares, Getty Design RSR-style fiberglass bodywork, and a custom interior with fixed-back bucket seats, racing harnesses, a roll bar, and RS-style door panels. It derives power from a custom-built 3.8-liter M64 flat-six engine with ported and polished heads, RSR-style camshafts, Mahle pistons, Carillo rods, twin MSD ignition coils, a front-mounted oil cooler, and PMO velocity stacks. The car also features a regeared 5-speed Type 915 manual transaxle with an RSR-style clutch, 17” Fikse wheels, Elephant Racing 930 Turbo-style brakes, Kokeln sway bars, Elephant Racing polyurethane suspension bushings, and RSR-spec Bilstein dampers. Acquired by the current owner in 2016 and recently serviced, this uncompromising RSR-style 911 is now being offered for auction out of California.
This long-wheelbase F-Body 911 has been modified with wide 930-style fender flares along with a Getty Design RSR-style bodykit including a fiberglass hood, bumpers, and ducktail rear spoiler. The car was refinished in the current shade of silver under prior ownership and features a lightweight Lexan rear window, H4 headlights, hood-mounted Cibie driving lights, rubber hood and decklid straps, a polished driver’s side mirror, and dual exhaust tailpipes. The car rides on 17” Fikse modular wheels finished in black with polished lips and Toyo Proxes R888 tires measuring 225/40 in front and 315/35 in the rear. The seller indicates some paint chips are present as well as some holes drilled on the rocker panels. Detailed images are provided in the gallery.
The custom black interior has been fitted with a roll bar and features a pair of fixed-back bucket seats with M&R racing harnesses as well as a four-point roll bar, lightweight RS-style door panels and carpets, a three-spoke MOMO Prototipo steering wheel, and a Dave Mason 917-style wooden shift knob. Other accessories include a fire extinguisher, CocoMats floor mats, dash-mounted Heuer rally timers, a 993-sourced 180 MPH speedometer, and a central 10k RPM tachometer. The clock has been replaced with a warning light and additional gauges are mounted below the dashboard for brake pressure. The seller notes a tear is present in the driver’s side door panel and the heater is inoperable.
This 911 is powered by an air-cooled M64 flat-six engine which has been rebuilt to a 3.8-liter displacement including ported and polished cylinder heads, a decked, shuffle-pinned, and boat-tailed engine case, and a balanced and magna fluxed crankshaft which was also heat-treated, grooved, cross-drilled, and knife-edged. The engine features Mahle 11:1 pistons, Carillo connecting rods, RSR-style camshafts, a Clewett Engineering pulley and timing kit, twin MSD ignition coils, Autronic standalone engine management, PMO velocity stacks, ITG air filters, a front-mounted oil cooler, an ATL fuel cell, and Fabspeed Maxflo headers and exhaust system. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a regeared 5-speed Type 915 manual transaxle with a lightweight flywheel and an RSR-style clutch and pressure plate. The brake system includes a Tilton master cylinder with twin reservoirs as well as Elephant Racing ERX 930-style brake calipers with cross-drilled rotors. The suspension includes re-valved RSR-spec Bilstein dampers, 23mm/30mm torsion bars, Kokeln adjustable sway bars, Elephant Racing polyurethane bushings, 930-style tie rods, and 911SC-derived rear trailing arms. The seller notes the brake calipers were replaced along with an oil change in preparation for sale.
This sale will include a clean title.

Money aside, the other tough part with replicating this car is finding someone to actually do the work and the time.

@BreakfastChamps it's overtime and the clock keeps resetting so...
@jds8811 thanks for the bid, a lot of car at this price. The cost to replicate would be well above this number.
We are destined for RNM at these levels.

Bid in the amount of $86,000
Winding down here, such a cool car and so much money to replicate. 3.8L 300hp, twin plug, RSR style monster with such presence. This is a car to get in and drive, no need to baby it or keep it sealed in the garage behind the ropes.
As a reminder to any new bidders: the clock will reset for 2 minutes for any bid made under the 2 minute mark. No need to prove how good or bad your WiFi is by waiting till the last seconds to bid only to find out it’s not that good.
Happy bidding and good luck!

@Bolson1982 all steel car aside from the lids and bumpers.
@burnrubr low 2000s. Extremely quick and fun car
@wob - sorry if I missed it, but are the fenders (front and rear) steel or fiberglass. I see that the bumpers, hood, and decklid are fiberglass, but may have missed it on the fenders.
@wob beautiful build! what's the approximate wet weight?
@burnrubr head bouncing from heart palpitations from 300rwhp+ in a lightweight rocket 911 :)
Has the rare “constantly steering” option
nice spirited driving but seems too bouncy or just the placement of the camera?
Bid in the amount of $80,000
@BurnsideM3 the light is what we use in racing as well, its oil pressure.
Are the rear flares steal or fiberglass. And the fronts are they complete fender replacement or glass on metal, or metal flares. Will it run on pump gas? Thanks
Bid in the amount of $75,000
@Damaho912, I’m sure the seller could confirm or correct, but my guess is that the replacement instrument in the clock position is an alternator failure warning light. I would’ve normally guessed a shift indicator light, but I didn’t see it illuminate in the driving video. And I agree with you, this 911 looks fantastic!
Bid in the amount of $65,000
@spiker_911 no pay, BaT locked account and banned him.
Did buyer back out of the BaT win a week or two ago? Or is this car being flipped again so soon?
Absolutely sick! Now that’s how you modify a 911 circa 1968. Bravo. Don’t even want to guess how much this cost. GLWS!
I’m not a fan of bastardizing the narrow bodies but oh my, this just looks fantastic and appears to be super high quality! Will bring some serious $$$! Just curious, the warning light that replaces the clock, is a warning of what exactly?
Bid in the amount of $60,000
Great driving video--the car sounds great and looks like it would be a real blast to drive!
