Now available for auction is this 1969 Porsche 911 T street/racecar finished in Gulf Blue over a custom performance-oriented interior. Featuring track mandated safety equipment and a considerable list of performance upgrades, this purpose-built 911 racecar is fully equipped to hit the track while remaining road compliant. Carrying an upgraded 3.0 L flat-six engine, this 911 T is a great opportunity for any air-cooled enthusiast with a passion for vintage motorsports.
This 911 T is said to have been professionally refinished in the iconic color of Gulf Blue about 5 years ago. The paint is said to remain in great overall condition with some typical track-going wear (detailed images are provided in the photo gallery). Some custom features include race-inspired graphics, lightweight Lexan rear and side windows, a fiberglass RSR front bumper and an IROC style rear wing. This 911 rides on 7” and 8” Fuchs wheels which come dressed in Pirelli P Zero tires.
Inside, the interior has been redone and made to comply with track mandated safety standards. Custom details include orange and black plaid door inserts, Sparco racing seats, a MOMO steering wheel and a rear seat delete. Safety features have been installed including window nets, a center net, a 22-gal Fuel Safe cell, a full halon fire suppression system and a fully integrated roll cage. The cabin also features a forced air helmet fan, engine access panels, an adjustable proportioning valve and a brake fluid reservoir which allows the driver to monitor the fluid level. All essential gauges and electrical components are said to be fully functional, and the seller notes that the 5-point harnesses are past expiration.
This 911 T has been equipped with a modified 3.0 L flat-six carbureted engine sourced from a later model 911 SC. The rear wheels are driven through a 915 5-speed manual transmission with a spool and Wevo shifter. This 911 racecar has been upgraded with the following list of performance modifications:
This 911 is reported to have only been raced twice since the completion of the majority of the upgrades. All maintenance is said to be up to date and the car is said to run very well. Approximately 7k miles are shown on the odometer, although the true mileage remains unknown.
The sale of this 911 will include one key and some service records. Whether you’re looking for a competitive edge on the racetrack or a visceral weekend driver, this 911 T racecar offers an incredible value.

@MezgerGT3 No spare parts with this girl. She should be ready to enjoy just the way she is :)
@moregas Yes, the rear package tray has been cut out. When we were racing, this allowed for extremely easy access to the motor and trans. She can be on the stands in less than 30 mins :) It's a very clean cut and would be easy to replace if someone wanted.
Hello. Did the rear package tray and shock tower get cut out of the car as it appears so but is not mentioned, and there is not an interior picture of the package tray? thx

@Straight-Piped-20 Thanks for inquiring! To answer your question, yes. All of the necessary safety items are in place and perfect working condition.
@CMH5466 The car isn't currently registered but certainly is something that I can have done for you! Based off previous sales that I've made, I think this should be relatively easy to register in Cali. It's old enough where you shouldn't fall victim to the harsh smog regs and it is also completely road legal here in NYS (wipers, signals, etc). Let me know how I can help.
B E A U Tiful car! Yes...wish I could drive it in California

Is the car currently registered for the street in NY with plates and current registration ?
I live In CA which would be a challenge in itself to get registered but would be easier if it already is currently registered with the corresponding VIN. Thanks
Are all necessary parts for the road in good condition. Ex. Turn signals, brake lights, and seatbelts.
