We are pleased to present this 1969 Porsche 911 E Coupe finished in Irish Green over a black interior. For the 1969 model year the 911 E received an updated Bosch mechanical fuel injection system (MFI) shared with the 911 S, making it one of the more desirable 2.0 L variants on the market. Said to have spent its entire life in California up until the current owner’s purchase in 2008, this 1969 Coupe has since been treated to a professional bare metal respray, interior refurbishment and some tasteful customizations. Reported to have been properly maintained with a leak down test carried out within the last 100 miles, this 911 E is stated to be in fantastic running order and is being offered by a private seller in Greene County, Ohio.
In 2016 under the current ownership, this 911 E was subjected to a professional glass-out bare metal respray in its desirable factory original color of Irish Green. The floor plans have been replaced and the paint is noted to be in great overall condition with a few minor imperfections as detailed in the photo gallery. This early model 911 highlights original chrome brightwork, dual sideview mirrors and “sugar-scoop” headlight bezels. Customizations include an RS-style front bumper and aftermarket Fuchs-style wheels which come in dressed in Falken tires from 2012.
Inside, the black interior has been partially refurbished and outfitted with GTS Classics front seats featuring plaid center inserts. The dashboard has been refinished, a MOMO 3-spoke steering has been equipped and new carpeting has been installed in the front trunk. The original headliner, door panels and rear seats are retained, and the seller confirms the interior to be in very nice condition with some age-appropriate wear. All gauges and accessories are also stated to be fully functional.
Power comes from a correct replacement 2.0 L flat-six mechanically fuel-injected engine which was installed under previous ownership. Approximately 140 HP is delivered to the rear wheels by way of a 5-speed Type 901-09 manual transmission. An adjustable Koni suspension has been installed and the ride height has been lowered by 1.5”. The engine was removed and inspected during the respray and found to be in satisfactory condition. All routine maintenance has been carried out and a leak down test was also performed within the last 100 miles which yielded the following results (2019).
1 – 6%
2 – 5%
3 – 10%
4 – 5%

The fluids and filters were changed in March of 2020 and this 911 is said to be in great running order.
The sale of this 911 E will include a set of two keys and some service records from the current ownership. If you’ve always dreamed of owning an early model Porsche 911, this stunning 1969 911 E is not to be overlooked.

@ppalmer I apologize for the lack of response. I had a jam packed day. I will need to check for you. Also, it does not have a jack or spare to my knowledge.
Congrats ppalmer! Well done.

@Walker.brettt — thanks for your quick reply.
@paulmkiernan unfortunately I do not have a video of the car being driven and with the short amount of time left I will not be able to get one.
I would however be able to meet with a shipping company if the buyer decides they would like the vehicle shipped at their expense.
2 Qs: (1) would you be able to share a photo of the car being driven; and (2) would you be able to hand the car off to an shipping company representative that arrives at your location? Thanks!
@Walker.brettt Thank you much
@bones body was done by Monroe Collision Center in Monroe Ohio by a gentleman named Bob Gorman.
@bones the paint was done by Voss Cadillac (Centerville, Ohio)
I'll need to check who did the body work. It was done in Middletown Ohio. I believe by Morris Restoration but I'll need to double check that.

Hello Brett - are you planning on adding a reserve for the sale of the car?
@WReiter there is no rust, was no rust prior to respray. The car had been painted red and the owner wanted it back to its factory green.
Any rust? What areas were treated for rust at time of respray? Thanks!
