Factory specified in Ossi Blue over black upholstery, this 1969 Porsche 911T Coupe is powered by a 2.7L flat-six engine sourced from a 1976 911, mated to a 901 5-speed manual transmission. It features a bare-metal refinish and red-painted contrasts, along with a selection of performance-oriented upgrades. Notable enhancements include front fog lamps, lightweight Lexan rear pop-out windows, new Toyo Proxes R888R tires, extended wheel studs, Koni struts and shocks, a short shifter, a roll bar, lightweight interior components, and more. Acquired by the seller in 2015, this long-hood 911 is now being offered for auction once again on PCARMARKET out of California.

This 911T Coupe was stripped to bare metal and refinished in its original shade of Ossi Blue between 2010 and 2011. The exterior is further enhanced with a red-painted front bumper and rear decklid, vinyl door roundel decals, front fog lamps, aerodynamic side mirrors, and lightweight Lexan rear pop-out windows. The car rides on 15” Fuchs wheels with extended wheel studs and new Toyo Proxes R888R tires. The seller notes that all body panels are steel, except for the hood, and mentions some fading trim and patina consistent with age. Detailed images are provided in the gallery.

Inside, the car features black bucket seats with Crow 5-point harnesses and a bolt-in roll bar with welded tabs for added rigidity. Modifications include a black headliner, SWB kneepad, Ultrasuede dashboard cover, and the deletion of the clock. Minor rust repairs were made to the floor and rear parcel shelf during the exterior refinishing. The heater and radio have been removed, although all other accessories are confirmed to be in working order.

Power comes from a 2.7-liter flat-six engine sourced from a 1976 Porsche 911. Completed in 2013, less than 1k miles ago, the engine is said to have been rebuilt by a local Porsche specialist and upgraded with RS pistons and cylinders, E-series heads and cams, and mechanical fuel injection. The rear wheels are driven through a 5-speed 901 manual transmission equipped with a short shift kit. The car is equipped with Koni front struts featuring Koni inserts, along with Koni rear shocks.

This sale will include a clean title.

The seller would like you to know: “This is a fun little ‘outlaw’ built over many years using lots of special parts that I had collected for myself along the way.  While I've owned the car for over 15 years, it has been back on the road only since last year, and I have put less than 1000 miles on it since then.  The car drives very well, is light and nimble, and has a great motor.  I have several other air-cooled cars, and as I get older, it is more difficult for me to drive this as originally intended, so I have decided to pass it on to its next caretaker.”

@AIR_MotorSports many thanks for the swift reply! Hopefully I can stay in the action today as I’m currently in the air.

@Mcoupes - the roll bar is bolted in, so it could be removed relatively easily if desired. If you win the bid and would like us to remove it, I can have that done here for you

    Hi @AIR_MotorSports
Is the Roll bar bolted or welded in? Would like to attend C&C and do some canyons with the boys in the back

Understood. Before Christmas not good time I found to sell a classic to a guy. He would get a s—- storm from the Old Lady if he bought himself a big item just before Christmas unless he bought her something better( read : more$$)!

  • AIR_MotorSports (seller) 1 monthago

@Jet2jeff2 - last auction closed back in December shortly before Xmas, without meeting the reserve, same photos and videos. Car is unchanged with the exception of 25 more miles and the underdash cover. Reserve has been lowered this time around.

My first 911 was a 69 E. I loved that car and have always wanted snother one. This one vould fill that bill!
Can you tell me what the high bid was last time around when it did not sell?

  • GeorgeVosburgh 1 monthago

Great car, I love this thing!

    The car definitely attracts attention!
The only change since the last auction is that an under dash cover with two speakers in it and a bluetooth amplifier have been installed, so you can pair your phone and play some tunes. It tidies up the area under the dash. I'll try and get some photos of this posted.

  • OldSchool 1 monthago

Yes the thing about having such a recognizable car is it’s recognizable when it goes back on the market😉

  • AIR_MotorSports (seller) 1 monthago

@OpahDopa - the car did not sell last time around, so we’re offering it here once again with about 100 more miles than before and a lower reserve.

Car is fully sorted and ready to enjoy. In person viewing and inspection is available in Van Nuys if desired.

    Thanks

  • OpahDopa (registered bidder) 1 monthago

I liked this car first time around. Can you tell the story about why it is back on the market?
    GLWS, handsome.
