This 1969 Porsche 911E is a long-wheelbase coupe that has been refinished in red and modified with steel fender flares, tan leather sport seats, custom door panels, and a 917-style wooden shift knob. It features a fuel-injected 2.0-liter flat-six engine, a 5-speed Type 901 manual transaxle, four-wheel disc brakes, Koni shocks, a Dynomax muffler, and 15” Fuchs alloy wheels. Accompanied by a Kardex copy showing matching engine numbers, this 911E is now being offered for auction out of Tennessee.

This Coupe was refinished in red during the early 2000s from its original factory color of Golden Green. Wide steel fender flares were installed around the time of the paintwork and the exterior is decorated with chrome trim, white Porsche script side stripes, a Porsche script windshield banner, gold model lettering, and yellow-tinted H4 headlamps. The car rides on polished 15” Fuchs alloy wheels mounted on spacers with General Altimax RT tires. The seller notes some imperfections around the exterior including paint scratches, cracks, and touch-ups. Detailed images are provided in the gallery.

The interior has been fitted with aftermarket tan leather sport seats and matching door panels. Accessories include coco floor mats, a leather-wrapped four-spoke steering wheel, a wood 917-style shift knob, a heater, an analog clock, and a Kenwood CD stereo. The seller notes the edges of the headliner are separating and speakers in the door panels are loose.

Equipped with Bosch mechanical fuel injection (MFI), the 2.0-liter flat-six engine delivers up to 158 HP to the rear wheels through a 5-speed Type 901 manual transaxle. An aftermarket Dynomax muffler has been installed and the suspension is upgraded with Koni shocks. The fuel injection system and rear axles were reportedly serviced in preparation for sale along with an oil change. Images of the engine case stamping and matching Kardex number can be seen in the gallery.

This sale will include an owner’s manual, a Kardex copy, and a Porsche Production Specifications Certificate.

Let me know of any last minute questions or requests.

I would love to see someone enjoy this car as is, or take it back to its rare original colors.
The car is strong, no smoke. Engine is really fresh with no issues. Transaxle shifts easily as well, no slop at all.
Fun car to drive. The early 2.0 liters are very rewarding, especially with MFI.

Happy to help with shipping as well if need be.
    Thanks again,

    Miles

@ScoobyDone Thanks for reaching out. Do not have compression or leak down numbers on this one. I would have to arrange to have this done. The engine is strong. Mfi works well but likes to warm up first. The warm up circuit was long removed on this one.

@ScoobyDone I too have struggled to connect with the seller. Unresponsive to my posted questions and my inquiry to connect via phone. Guess that means I'm out.

@Miles.S. with online auctions as they are, bidders are hungry for information, the more the better. I would love to bid on this beauty with co fidence-- but would like compression test or leak-diwn data to co firm engine co edition. Aany recent test results please?

    Thank you and GLWTA

Nice looking hot rod. These earlier can are a ton of fun to toss around. I am sure we all wish it was still golden green. Even though, still deserves a bid.

    Hi all,

Thanks for stopping in to check out this 69e.

Cool car here. Unique flares all done in steel. The car was originally Golden Green which is very rare color. Can see the car being enjoyed as is or getting restored back to original. There is no rust under the car. Undercoating is very very lite. Very solid car with lot of potential. Drives well, shifts and handles great. Cold start is disconnected but starts up similar to a carbureted example. Once warmed up, the car is smooth. Do have the original headlights. Decals and euro plate can be removed if desired as well.

Please let me know of any questions or requests you may have. The car is located in East Tennessee Maryville. Shipping available worldwide. Please reach out and I can provide a quote.

    Thanks! Miles

Interior is clean. Body is rough. @seller are both front and rear fenders steel? Why fresh undercoating on the front pan? Any documentation on the engine?
