Deviating from the traditional styling of the classic Fiat 500, Carrozzeria Ghia custom-made a “Jolly” variant of the 500, which featured a doorless open-air design and removable fabric canopy roof. This 1969 Fiat Nuova 500 has undergone a complete Jolly-style rotisserie restoration and is finished in Celeste Blue with a white fabric canopy roof over a white leatherette interior. Custom built in April 2023 and imported from Italy, this 500 Jolly replica is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Florida.
This Fiat was refinished in Celeste Blue as part of its restoration and converted to a Jolly with a white fabric canopy roof. Exterior details include 12” steel wheels with Celeste Blue accenting and white-walled wheels, chrome bumper guards, driver and passenger side mirrors, “Spiaggina 500” lettering below the sills, a louvered rear decklid, and a rear luggage rack with a suitcase. Detailed images are provided in the gallery.
The cabin has been tastefully restored in white leatherette with Celeste Blue accenting along the seat tops, seat tubing, upper dash, shifter, and hand brake. Interior details include a central Celeste Blue 120 km/h speedometer, black carpeting, an aftermarket radio, a two-spoke steering wheel, a dash-mounted passenger grab handle, and a rear bench seat. All gauges and accessories are reported to be working properly.
This 500 is equipped with a rebuilt rear-mounted 499cc air-cooled inline-twin engine, which sends its power to the rear wheels through a rebuilt 4-speed manual transmission. The seller confirms there are currently no outstanding maintenance items and a safety inspection was carried out upon their acquisition.
This sale will include a clean title.

@Hank_2023 Great question. I have sold Jolly's all over the country and most states due to the age have them exempt from all emission requirements. I suggest you contact California DMV or look online for own assurance.
Will this Jolly pass California smog test, and safety inspection ie. safety belts?

@wonk Please look at picture #51. I had new pictures added to show how it looks with seats up.
I was asking if someone could actually fit in the back and if the front seats moved forward - not tilted forward to get back there.
If you look theres like 2" of room between the back seat cushion and the rear seats - which makes me wonder if thats why they just used rattan =)

Additional content has been added to the gallery for this listing.
@wonk Thank you for interest and questions.
-wicker is traditional but I have been asked on this type of seating as it wears better and is more comfortable
-vinyl banners on side will 100% come off with no damage to paint (this is a recent restoration so the paint is perfect and not faded)
-I have added pictures with both front seats moved up
Anything else please let me know.

While I do think a hallmark of the Ghia Jolly design is the wicker interior, this 1950s-esque diner / bel aire look is not all that terrible on this.
What is terrible, however, is that vinyl banner on the sides of the car. Wow. Can you confirm this can be removed without damage / reverse fading the to the paint?
Additionally, if the front seats are adjustable front and back (which they typically are not) you should probably show a photo with more than 2" of space between the back of front seats and the rear seat cushions - it does not appear anyone can actually fit back there. With the wicker seats it is already quite tight but people can fit.
Good Afternoon PCar Market Community….
