Deviating from the traditional styling of the classic Fiat 500, the Jolly variant of the 500 features a doorless open-air design and removable fabric canopy roof. This 1969 Jolly conversion is finished in mint green with a striped canopy top over a wicker interior. It is reported to have resided in Italy prior to being imported to the United States in January 2012. Reported to have been refurbished in 2019 and driven seldomly, this unique 500 Jolly is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Arizona.

As part of the 2019 refurbishment, this 500 Jolly is reported to have been repainted in mint green, complemented with a green/black/beige striped Sunbrella fabric canopy top with white tassels. Exterior details include replated front and rear chrome bumper guards, replated chrome accenting that runs along the door sill and jamb, a driver’s side mirror, rear “Fiat 500” badging”, and a louvered rear decklid. It rides on white-painted 12” steel wheels with polished covers, which are dressed in 125-series Pirelli Cinturato tires. Detailed images are provided in the gallery.

The interior has been fitted with wicker seats, black carpeting, upgraded wiring, a mint green dash with a driver-centered speedometer, a white-rimmed two-spoke steering wheel, a dashboard storage compartment, and a center console storage tray. All gauges, electronics, and accessories are reported to be working properly.

This 500 Jolly equips a rear-mounted 500cc twin engine with a ceramic-coated muffler and exhaust headers, which is said to have been part of the 2019 work. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 4-speed manual transmission. Service items prior to the current ownership are said to include a powder-coated fuel tank and engine cooling ducts, along with the installation of a new battery, suspension bushings, brake lines, brake shoes, axle shaft boots, and axle shaft seals. No outstanding maintenance items have been reported.

This sale will include a clean title, spare tire, tool kit, and battery charger.

The seller would like you to know: “Absolutely stunning 1969 Jolly with only 21 kilometers on the engine, that you will Love. Incredible color, Mint Green.  Every time you look at your new Jolly, it will put a big smile on your face.”
