This second-generation 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle underwent a thorough restoration, including a host of styling enhancements and performance modifications to boost performance. Refinished in blue over a custom blue/white interior, it features a cowl hood, Billet Specialty wheels, adjustable air ride suspension, custom exhaust with Magnaflow mufflers, an upgraded and rebuilt 454 LS6 engine paired with a 5-speed Tremec manual transmission, and much more. Acquired from the collection at Volo Museum in Illinois, this Chevelle is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Canada.
The second-generation Chevelle received an elongated wheelbase, while the 1969 model year offered updated styling including a new grille, quad headlights, a slotted bumper with parking lights, larger vertical taillights, and smaller side marker lighting. As part of the meticulous restoration, this Chevelle was refinished in its striking shade of blue complemented by extensive chrome trim. The restoration also saw the installation of a cowl hood, SS badging, and 18”/20” Billet Specialty wheels dressed in Nitto Extreme performance tires. Detailed images are provided in the gallery.
Inside, the driver is surrounded by blue and white upholstery including custom sport seats with SS logo embroideries, matching door panels, and a white dash pad that sits above a blue instrument panel with matching digital Dakota instrumentation. Other custom accessories include a metal fabricated console spanning the full length of the cabin, a white-finished Billet Specialties steering wheel mounted to a polished tilt column, a billet shifter, A/C controls, air-ride suspension controls, power window switches, LED lighting, custom carpeting with embroidered mats, and billet pedals.
Power is derived from a completely rebuilt and upgraded 454 LS6 V8 engine featuring a polished intake manifold, a polished Demon carburetor, a K&N filter, and a set of cast aluminum valve covers that have been chromed. The engine breathes through a custom stainless-steel exhaust with an X-pipe, polished Magnaflow mufflers, and electric cutouts. The rear wheels are driven through a Tremec 5-speed manual transmission, a custom aluminum driveshaft, and a 12-bolt rear axle with a finned cover. Stopping is provided by power-assisted 4-wheel disc brakes. The car features a full air ride suspension with upgraded boxed control arms and a chrome sway bar. Other equipment includes power steering, a billet front runner, a trunk-mounted battery, and a custom smooth-polished fuel tank.
This sale will include a clean title.

The brakes have been upgraded.
I don't think there is Duty going back to US. I recommend you talk to a registered broker.
Hi, are the brakes and ac factory or upgraded?
What are costs to get this imported into California?

I didn't build the car so not sure if its intentional since there are air bags too?
Is there a picture with the rear suspension lower? Or is the rake intentional?
Nice Chevelle! With the exhaust terminating under the car (with the cutouts closed) do you get exhaust smell in the interior when not moving? With
