Available for auction is this 1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS finished in Rally Green over a white vinyl interior. The first generation of Chevrolet's legendary pony car was launched for the 1966 model year and rode on the new rear-wheel-drive GM F-body platform. This 1969 example is powered by a 350ci V8 engine paired with a 4-speed Muncie gearbox. Equipped with front power disc brakes, power steering, COPO hubcaps, air conditioning, Rally gauges, factory bucket seats, and a center console, this Camaro SS is now being offered for auction by its seller out of California.
For 1969. the Camaro was restyled with a new front grille, door skins, rear quarter panels, and rear valance panel which provided a lower, wider, and more aggressive look. This example comes finished in Rally Green with a white vinyl top and a big block-style hood. As an SS model, this Camaro features decorative air inlets on the hood, special striping, hockey stripe decals, and unique badging. It rides on a set of painted 15” steel wheels with COPO hubcaps and Firestone Wide Oval F70 tires. Additional images are provided in the gallery.
The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench trimmed in white vinyl with matching door panels and black carpets. Equipment includes a center console, Hurst shifter, lap belts, woodgrain trim, Rally gauges, and a rare factory air conditioning system. The air conditioning system has been upgraded and the seller confirms that all gauges and accessories remain fully functional.
Power comes from a 350ci Turbo-Fire small block V8 engine with a forged crankshaft and aluminum heads. Power is sent to the rear wheels by way of a 4-speed manual Muncie gearbox. This example comes factory equipped with front power-assisted disc brakes as well as power steering. The seller reports an updated Hotchkis suspension has been installed including upper and lower control arms.
This sale will include a clean title.
