Marking the final year of the second-generation Corvette (C2), this 1967 Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray Convertible is powered by a 427ci L71 “JE” Big Block engine paired with a 4-speed M21 close-ratio manual gearbox. It comes finished in Marlboro Maroon paint over a Saddle interior and features side-exit exhaust pipes, chrome trim, disc brakes, independent suspension, and cast-aluminum 15” turbine-style wheels with Coker Redline tires. The car was previously restored and is said to have been owned twice by its last owner for twenty non-consecutive years. Kept in a large collection of famous movie cars, it was also featured in the filming of an upcoming Netflix program called “5 Across”. This final-year C2 Corvette is now being offered for auction out of Tennessee.
This Corvette Convertible has been refinished in its factory color of Marlboro Maroon with a tan convertible soft top. Equipment includes a black-striped stinger hood, split chrome bumpers, retractable headlights, fender vents, side-exit exhaust pipes, a driver’s side mirror, a rear fender-mounted antenna, and 15” cast aluminum turbine-style wheels dressed in Coker Redline tires. The seller notes the tires are about 10 years old and some minor cosmetic imperfections are present in the paint. Detailed images are provided in the gallery.
The cabin has been redone in its original Saddle color using premium leather upholstery as opposed to the factory-specified vinyl. Accessories include bucket seats with tan lap belts, a three-spoke wood-trimmed steering wheel, chrome trim pieces, manual window cranks, an analog clock, a Delco radio, a ventilation fan, and a polished shift lever. The seller notes all gauges and accessories are working properly.
Factory-rated at 435 HP and 460 lb.-ft of torque, the 427ci L71 V8 engine is equipped with triple two-barrel carburetors and is paired with a 4-speed M21 close-ratio manual transmission. The car features four-wheel disc brakes and a fully independent suspension with front upper and lower control arms and a rear three-link transverse leaf spring configuration.
This sale will include a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “This is a very good driver condition car. I drove this car for 2 days with no issues. The engine is very strong, and the color is fantastic. The next owner will love this car and there is some TV fame coming also!”

@Calikid picture is already posted in the gallery friend
@seller the engine pad with numbers and engine suffix is located on the passenger top side of the engine below the valve cover. You might need to move the hose out of the way to get a clear shot of the numbers. This would be very helpful. Thanks

@Calikid good morning. I added the two plates that I have pictured. I’m traveling but will be back at the car this evening. The car is numbers matching but does not have NCRS paperwork of the like with it. I’ll get more shots of the trans diff and motor this weekend and post them. Thank you for your interest!

Good morning I am wondering if you have any paperwork with the car and if it’s matching numbers. Can you provide a picture of the engine pad if it is.
