The second generation of Chevrolet’s Corvette sports car, the C2 was the first to bear the Stingray namesake and debuted a new chassis with improved steering, brakes, and suspension. This 1967 example was said to be built on November 5, 1966, and delivered to its first owner in Hasbrouck Heights, NJ. It was ordered in Marlboro Maroon over a Saddle vinyl interior, equipped with an L68 427ci/400 HP V8 engine paired with a Muncie 4-speed manual transmission, air conditioning, power brakes, power steering, power windows, and a side-mounted exhaust system. This C2 remained with the same owner for the past 12 years while receiving an upgraded period-correct wiring harness, a rebuilt Posi-traction limited-slip differential, a refreshed rear suspension and parking brake, and rebuilt triple 2-barrel carburetors. This 1967 Corvette is now being offered at auction by its seller out of New York.
The exterior is finished in Marlboro Maroon (988) with a gloss back hood stripe, split chrome front and rear bumpers, smooth chrome-trimmed rocker panels, and a single reverse light over the rear license plate. The car was previously refinished and the seller notes a small imperfection on the hood stripe, detailed images are provided in the gallery. Equipment includes pop-up headlights, a hood scoop, a single chrome driver’s side mirror, a power antenna, optional dual side-exit exhaust outlets, and 15” turbine-style wheels with Chevrolet center caps and BFGoodrich Silvertown redline tires.
The interior is upholstered in Saddle (420) vinyl including bucket seats with headrests, matching door panels, dashboard, and carpeting accented by stainless steel trim. Amenities include optional air conditioning, a vertically mounted AC Delco AM/FM radio, a polished ball shifter, power windows, a locking glovebox, and an analog clock. The seller states all instrumentation and accessories are in proper working order.
This Stingray carries a “Tri-Power” L68 427ci V8 generating up to 400 HP and 460 lb.-ft of torque. The engine stamping, T0121JC, matches the original engine code per the Corvette C2 Registry. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Muncie 4-speed manual transmission and GM Posi-traction limited-slip differential. Factory features include power steering, power brakes, and a side-mounted exhaust system. The most recent service includes the installation of an upgraded period-correct wiring harness, a rebuilt Posi-traction limited-slip differential, a refreshed rear suspension using genuine GM parts, a new parking brake mechanism, and a rebuild of the “Triple Power” carburetors.
This sale will include a transferrable registration, owner's manuals, and some documentation.

@Crittsdad1 you cannot ask the seller to disclose their private reserve. We appreciate everyone playing by the rules
Interesting looking Vette
What is the reserve.
Thank You
@steve72 The sale will include a transferable registration. New York does not issue titles cars of this age. The registration will work just like a title when you go to register.
Will the sale include a title for the car?
Bid in the amount of $51,000
@Imperial - Simple answer- YES there is! Am I qualified to describe it here- NO ! Sorry ! But there are deff. "Corvette experts" available in your area that are! Sackboy ps; there is a complete set currently on auction @ BringATrailor.com that is very well photographed and documented for your comparison, FYI
Bid in the amount of $35,000
The entire car has been redone in its lifetime. I would bid as if the Turbine wheels are aftermarket. The paint on this car and interior are probably better than when it left the factory.
@sackboy Is there any easy way to tell if they are real turbine wheels
Curious as to gas mileage?
Any idea IF the "Bolt-ons" are REAL Kelsey Hayes [GM] , or Repo`s ?!? 20K difference!
LOVE this one !! Very, very RARE to see Tri-Power and Fact. AC !!!
