Now up for auction is this custom restored 1967 Chevrolet Camaro RS. Having left the factory in Ermine White with a red vinyl top, this first-generation Camaro eventually received a custom frame-off restoration from 2017-2018 when it was refinished in the current shade of metallic blue while the cabin was completely reupholstered in black vinyl with houndstooth seat centers. A supercharged LS9 crate motor was also installed along with a Super Magnum 6-speed manual transmission, upgraded coilover suspension, and Wilwood big brake kit. With just over 7k miles driven since the restoration, this one-of-a-kind Camaro is now being offered for auction by its seller out of California accompanied by a binder of photos and records documenting the restoration process.
In 2017, this Camaro was fully disassembled and refinished in the current metallic blue color along with the installation of a new black vinyl top. The paint color was reportedly derived from a metallic shade offered by Toyota/Lexus. Exterior details include chrome front and rear bumpers, a chrome driver’s side mirror, chrome-finished rocker panels, a body-colored rear spoiler, retractable headlight covers, integrated front fog lights, a chrome antenna, and RS badging on the front fenders and trunk. Black Wilwood brake calipers with white script sit behind aftermarket chrome 5-spoke wheels mounted with Toyo Proxes R888 tires.
The interior of this Camaro has been completely redone with new black vinyl upholstery, carpeting, and houndstooth seat centers. A leather-wrapped RS three-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of custom instrumentation with ESX Motorsports dials and blue illumination. An upgraded Vintage Air A/C system has been installed along with custom blue footwell lighting, and an upgraded sound system including an Alpine Bluetooth radio.
Power comes from a GM Performance 6.2L LS9 supercharged dry-sump crate engine, found in the C6 Corvette ZR1. Equipped with an Eaton four-lobe Roots-style supercharger, the LS9 was factory rated at 638 HP and 604 lb.-ft of torque. Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a Chevrolet Performance T-56 Super Magnum 6-speed manual transmission with a Chevrolet Performance Clutch Kit and FAB9 rear-end. The suspension features many parts from Chris Alston’s Chassisworks including a bolt-on g-Machine front clip, g-Bar splined end anti-roll bars, g-Machine upper and lower A-arms, g-Connector center support, Varishock Quickset 2 coilovers, and a T-56 cross member. This Camaro also sports a full Wilwood big brake kit featuring 6-piston calipers in the front and 4-piston calipers in the rear. An upgraded Ron Davis radiator assembly has been fitted as well.
This sale will include restoration records and a clean title. Offering a substantial increase in power and reliability while staying true to its classic appearance, this custom restored 1967 Camaro RS is an ideal choice for any driver in search of classic American muscle with modern performance.

The look and stance on this car are perfection. I second the need for a cold start and driving video and also additional pictures of the underside and suspension. While waiting for those do the headlamp covers remain vacuum-operated?
