We are pleased to present this rare 1966 Porsche 911 Sunroof Coupe finished in Sand Beige over a black interior. Highlighting a recent complete rotisserie restoration, this 911 has been driven only 300 test miles since. Presenting itself as it would rolling off of the showroom floor, this numbers-matching 911 Coupe makes the perfect addition to any collection.
This 911 is said to have been professionally stripped down to bare metal and refinished in its factory original color of Glasurit Sand Beige (6607). Additionally, all seals have been replaced and all metal trim has either been replaced or refinished to a high standard. Noteworthy Details include a factory electric sunroof and a set of chrome ventilated wheels that come wrapped in Vredestein tires.
Inside, you will find a complete restored black leather interior. This interior highlights an entirely new set of correct German carpets, new headliner, re-wrapped dashboard, refinished seats and a refinished period correct leather steering wheel. Additionally, all gauges were rebuilt by Palo Alto speedometer and the wood dashboard panel was restored by Madera Concepts. All in all, this period-correct interior presents very well and all components and electrical systems are in great working order.
Power comes from a numbers-matching 2-liter flat-six engine that is connected to a 902 5-speed manual transmission. This iconic power plant has been fully rebuilt by Rich Jacksic and only bears approximately 300 miles of use. Additionally, the entire braking and suspension systems have been completely overhauled. This car is said to perform absolutely brilliantly and drives the way it was originally intended.
This is a rare, highly original and mechanically sound 911. Included in the sale are all records and documentation concerning its restoration as well as the original books, service manual, jack, tools and spare. A Porsche Certificate of Authenticity will also be provided. Do not miss this rare opportunity to own this superb and highly collectible 1966 Porsche 911.

Is the Webasto heater installed? Could you furnish underhood pictures of the frunk, spare tire, fuel tank, fuse panels, heater, etc? Thanks.

Very well done restoration, with very little left to make spot on! As mentioned, door panel need painted edges in black to hide body color when doors are closed. Very simple project to complete. This in my humble opinion deserves a six figure consideration. The sun roof has 8 to 10K value alone. wishing the seller all the best with sale.
Do the newer fenders cause the hood to appear out of line and the deck lid or is just the pictures, also are those some type of clips around the headliner where it meets the sunroof ? I love the pictures of the resto, it appears professionally done.
Nice car, much time went into the restoration. Two items in particular to know, the front fenders are from 68 or newer to accommodate US legal head lights (note tabs), but is not unusual because pre-68 fenders are hard to find. The front latch plate is also from a newer 911/912 when the windshield washer tank filler came up through an opening in that latch. Interior door edges and deck lids hinges need to be flat black. Buyer should be aware of this.
Where is the car? Hampton’s?
