Available for auction is a highly detailed DeAgostini Ford GT40 model featuring authentic race-used paint, commemorating the 1969 GT40’s legendary run at Le Mans. This full metal model weighs nearly 20 pounds assembled, measures 20” long, 8.7” wide, and 5” tall, and was built over 20 months through a subscription kit requiring more than 100 hours of manual work. 
It features functional lights and engine sound, opening doors and hatches, Lemans-style fuel caps, vented engine covers, side air intake ducts, plexiglass door windows, dual exhaust outlets, and orange 15” BRM knock-off wheels with Firestone Sport Car Special yellow-letter tires. 
The cockpit is outfitted with fixed-back bucket seats upholstered in black leather with ring-grommet ventilation, a detailed dashboard, center console, and door panels, along with a center-mounted switch panel, red Sabelt-branded seat belts, and a fire extinguisher in the passenger footwell. 
The seller states the model is in good overall condition and has been polished and waxed for protection, though some small parts are missing including chrome bonnet latches (part 99B), one rear wheel knock-off (part 50B), four carburetor diaphragms not visible with the engine cover installed (part 2E), rear tail light covers (part 106C), and the windshield wiper (part 97C). 
The seller states the model presents well as-is. This model is no longer available from DeAgostini and can only be obtained through the secondary market.
