Finished in Marina Blue over a black vinyl upholstery, it features an aluminum radiator, a dual exhaust system, power front disc brakes, chrome-finished bumpers, front bucket seats, a retro-style digital stereo, air conditioning, and more. This Impala coupe is now being offered for auction by its seller out of New Jersey.
This example is finished in Marina Blue and features chrome-finished bumpers, door handles, side mirrors, wheel arch trim, body side moldings, and a prominent horizontal grille flanked by dual round headlamps. It has Impala SS badging, triple taillights, and dual exhaust outlets. It rides on 15” Rally-style wheels adorned with chrome hubcaps and trim rings and wrapped in Challenger Regul Sport tires. The cabin features front bucket and rear bench seats upholstered in black vinyl, complemented by woodgrain accents to the dashboard and center console. It has a two-spoke steering wheel, hand-crank windows, an analog clock, a heater and air conditioning, a retro-style digital stereo, and AutoMeter instrumentation mounted in the center console.
Power comes from a 396ci V8, part of Chevy’s big-block lineup, which is equipped with a four-barrel carburetor and an aluminum radiator. The rear wheels are driven through a TH400 3-speed automatic transmission. The suspension setup includes an independent front suspension with coil springs and KYB shocks paired with a live rear axle, while power-assisted front discs and rear drums facilitate braking power.
