This example is an RT4B Black Edition roadster presented in a custom Gulf Racing livery and powered by a 554 HP Roush 427 V8 engine. It features a 5-speed manual transmission, the GT Body option, a carbon fiber dashboard, Gulf-themed gauges, power steering, ceramic headers and side pipes, Sabelt cam-lock safety harnesses, a custom shift knob, and more. Showing just over 3k miles on the odometer, this Backdraft Racing RT4B is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Arizona.
Presented in a classic blue and orange Gulf Racing livery, This RT4B roadster features the GT Body option as well as a Black Edition trim package including a black powder-coated roll bar, quick-jack bumperettes, a Le Mans-style gas cap, ceramic-coated exhaust pipes, and 18” alloy knock-off wheels. Other equipment includes sun visors and wind wings, a hood scoop, stainless-steel engine side vents, windshield wipers, black LED headlights, clear front turn signals, dual Raydot mirrors, and Goodyear Eagle tire graphics. The seller describes the car to be in excellent overall condition, detailed images are provided in the gallery.
The black interior features a pair of leather bucket seats with optional ventilation grommets, Sabelt cam-lock safety harnesses, an optional carbon fiber dashboard, and Gulf-themed instrument dials. Other accessories include a custom shift knob, a suede-wrapped Sabelt steering wheel, leather door panels with map pockets, premium carpet with bound edges, and a dashboard-mounted rearview mirror. All gauges and accessories are said to be fully functional.
This RT4B is equipped with a 427ci Roush V8 engine delivering up to 554 HP to the rear wheels through a 5-speed manual gearbox. A power steering system has been installed and the car comes standard with four-wheel power disc brakes, coilover front struts, and a multi-link independent rear suspension.
