Modeled after the legendary 1965 Shelby Cobra, this Backdraft Racing RT4B Roadster was reportedly constructed in South Africa in 2021 and finished in Lamborghini Grigio Telesto Metallic over a black and yellow interior. Power is provided by a 427ci Stroker V8 mated to a Tremec TKO 5-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Features include side-exit exhaust pipes, 17” Hallibrand-style wheels, low-back bucket seats, a MOMO steering wheel, and more. Showing approximately 3k miles on the odometer, this Backdraft Cobra is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Tennessee.
The RT4B features lightweight fiberglass bodywork over a powder-coated steel frame. Finished in Lamborghini Grigio Telesto Metallic with black and yellow racing stripes, this example equips black quick-jack bumperettes, a black driver’s roll hoop, a hood scoop, black Le Mans-style fuel cap, Raydyot-style mirrors, custom fender emblems, ceramic-coated side pipes, and 18” matte black Hallibrand-style knock-off wheels. The cockpit presents black leather upholstery complemented with yellow accents. Power comes from a 427ci Stroker V8 crate engine generating a reported 515 HP and 585 lb-ft of torque.
