It also features a rebuilt 3-speed automatic transmission, a 3000-stall torque converter, custom paintwork, and American Racing wheels. A street-legal period-correct drag racer, this 1965 Ford Mustang is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Indiana.
This Mustang is finished in white with custom hand-painted racing graphics and a contrasting matte black hood. Equipment includes dual chrome mirrors, hood pins, a high-rise hood scoop, chrome pushbutton door handles, dual tailpipes, and lightweight American Racing wheels featuring Hoosier Quick Time Pro rear drag tires. The cabin is appointed with red vinyl upholstery and matching carpets.
