This 1964 Porsche 356C Coupe underwent reconditioning and modification under previous ownership between 2007 and 2024, including a full repaint in Aetna Blue, a reupholstered tan interior, and the installation of a replacement 1.6-liter flat-four engine from a Porsche 912. It features front fog lamps, yellow driving lights, a twin grille decklid, 15” steel wheels, a three-spoke steering wheel, Coco floor mats, dual Weber carburetors, a stainless-steel exhaust system with Magnaflow mufflers, Bilstein shocks, four-wheel disc brakes, and a rebuilt 4-speed manual transaxle. Acquired by the seller here on PCARMARKET in 2024, this tastefully appointed 356C Coupe is now being offered for auction out of California.
Originally finished in Ruby Red, the Karmann-built bodywork was stripped and repainted in Aetna Blue under previous ownership in the late 2000s. The exterior features a front bumper delete, front fog lamps, yellow driving lights, chrome trim, a driver’s side mirror, pop-out quarter windows, a twin-grille decklid, and chrome rear bumperettes with integrated tailpipes. The car rides on slotted 15” steel wheels with Porsche-crested hubcaps and new Reputation tires. An additional set of painted 15” steel wheels with whitewall tires is included in the sale. Some pitting is noted on the windows along with a few chips and cracks in the paint. Detailed images are provided in the gallery.
The cabin has been completely redone, featuring tan leather front seats and matching vinyl upholstery for the dashboard, door panels, and rear seats. Accessories include tan lap belts, a painted three-spoke steering wheel, a body-colored dashboard fascia, VDO instrumentation, an analog clock, a heater, a Blaupunkt pushbutton radio, and Coco floor mats. The seller indicates the clock is currently inoperable.
Power is supplied by a replacement 1.6-liter flat-four engine that was reportedly sourced from a 1968 Porsche 912. It was previously rebuilt and modified with dual Weber carburetors and a stainless-steel exhaust system including Magnaflow mufflers. The rear wheels are driven through a 4-speed manual transaxle, and the car features four-wheel disc brakes and upgraded Bilstein shocks. The seller indicates approximately 4k miles have been driven since the restoration was completed, and corresponding invoices are available from 2007 through 2025.
This sale will include a spare set of wheels and tires, an additional spare wheel, a toolkit, a jack, invoices from 2007-2025, and a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “This is an excellent semi-modified outlaw. It runs and drives great and should make anyone extremely happy.”

The front bumper is not included.
Thanks for your comment/question
I did not see this in the info, but is the front bumper included with the car? Thanks
I received a question in terms of the wording "Semi-Modified Outlaw"
The car is largely stock, minus the front bumper, added lights on front end, modified 912/356SC engine.
It is easy to drive, has plenty of power and I have only driven it in flip flops :)
Bid in the amount of $5,250
