This 1964 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Coupe was acquired by the seller in August 2021 and was refinished in its original color of Silver Blue under prior ownership. The car underwent a full custom restoration in 2022 by Dream Car Restorations which included a power steering and Wilwood disc brake upgrade as well as LED lighting, a new interior, and a TKX 5-speed manual transmission paired with an upgraded 383ci small block V8 engine. This no-expense-spared Corvette restomod was recently completed and is now being offered for auction by its seller out of New York.

This C2 Corvette is said to have been refinished in its original Silver Blue paint color and fitted with a ’67 Stingray hood during a full restoration by a previous owner between 2012 and 2013 which included a powder-coated frame. The current owner oversaw reconditioning of the exterior and installation of an LED lighting upgrade as well as the installation of new weatherstripping and chrome knockoff spinners for its OEM 15” wheels.

The cabin has been redone with new carpeting, headliner, kick panels, and new leather for the dashboard, door panels, armrest, and sun visors. It features updated C5-generation bucket seats with new foam and leather covers as well as custom carbon fiber trim inlays, billet door panels, Dakota digital gauges, an upgraded clock, metal foot pedals, new chrome door latches, a new steering wheel, and a Borgeson power steering kit with a tilting and telescoping column. The air conditioning system has been rewired and new speakers are paired with a Bluetooth-retrofitted radio. The seller notes the original seats and steering wheel will accompany the car.

Power comes from a GM ZZ4 383ci small block V8 engine with aluminum heads, ARP bolts, a new Edelbrock 600cfm carburetor, and a new Petronix ignition system. The engine breathes through new exhaust headers and a Magnaflow exhaust system. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Tremec TKX 5-speed manual transmission with a new Hydramax hydraulic clutch kit and a Silver Sport heavy-duty bell housing. The wiring harness and fuel lines have been replaced and the chassis features new trailing arm brake assemblies and upgraded Wilwood front and rear disc brakes along with new brake lines and a Wilwood 1.12 bore master cylinder.

This sale will include owner’s manuals, a car cover, a battery charger, restoration invoices, and a clean title.

The seller would like you to know: “After a full restoration of this car, it is an absolute joy to drive.  The vintage look and color consistently turn heads.  This is perfect for the car enthusiast.  I have owned this car since Aug 2021 and I am ready for my next adventure.”

Wanted to wish everyone the best of luck with your buds today. The auction is ending shortly. I have invested a lot of time and money into this car. The reserve is set very reasonable and alot less then the money invested in the car. Hope the next owner enjoys it as much as I have. Feel free to contact me with any questions.

    Best,
    Bobby

@bobbyhematian hello seller, I am a residential general contractor, carpenter by trade, but like sports cars, and have been fortunate to own one for most of my adult life, but I am certainly no collector, and certainly don’t have deep pockets like a collector
As I mentioned, I usually enjoy having a Porsche, and feel very fortunate to do so
However, the sound of an American muscle car like your Corvette, or my old Chevelle and the enjoyment of driving one is a special feeling unlike most other cars
I’ll be watching your Corvette, although I am confident it will require money outside any possible budget I might have for it
Really cool resto mod or reverberation as they say well done and thanks for the reply
    Steve

@sportscarguy3 Thank you. Sounds like this is the perfect car to add to your collection.

  • sportscarguy3 (registered bidder) 1 year, 1 monthago

Looks like a really well done reverberation, and a very clean Corvette
Certainly the classic looking Corvette stingray, hard top and What a sound with the new performance exhaust
Porsche’s are usually my preferred kind of driving experience, however, having a 1971 Chevelle 454 in my late teens. I remember how cool it was to have a Bitchin muscle car
    Good luck all

@Gopherbroke thanks for your question. the clutch feels medium to me.

  • Gopherbroke (registered bidder) 1 year, 1 monthago

@bobbyhematian Where on the curve (light/medium/heavy) would you place the clutch pedal effort?
