Available for auction is this Fiberfab Cobra replica finished in silver over a black leather interior. Established in 1964 Fiberfab, was one of the longest-running producers of kit cars in the United States. This example is titled as a 1962 Cobra replica and was acquired by the seller in July of 2022 featuring a stroked 393ci Ford V8 engine paired with a 5-speed manual transmission, 17″ Halibrand-style wheels, low-back bucket seats, side pipes, AutoMeter instrumentation, and more. It is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Iowa while showing just over 38k miles on its odometer.
The body of this Cobra is constructed from fiberglass and finished in silver with black over-the-top stripes and black-finished roll hoops. Details include a Le Mans-style fuel filler, bullet-style mirrors, side pipes, and front and rear over riders. It rides on a set of 17″ Halibrand-style with knock-off spinners. The wheels come dressed in a set of Nitto NT555 tires which were installed in 2014.
Inside, the low-back bucket seats and door panels are upholstered in black leather, while black carpets line the floors. Features include a wood-rimmed three-spoke steering wheel, a body-colored dashboard, a suite of centrally mounted Autometer instrumentation, leather shifter and handbrake boots, and lap belts.
Power comes from a Ford Windsor V8 which was stroked to 393ci by Performance Motorsports of Medford, Oregon, in 2014. Additional upgrades include a Holley carburetor and fuel pump, Edelbrock intake manifold, COMP Cams camshaft, SCAT crankshaft, March Performance crankshaft pulley, Moroso oil pan, MSD distributor, ceramic-coated headers, and Ford Racing valve covers. The rear wheels are driven by way of a Tremec TKO 600 5-speed manual transmission equipped with a SPEC Clutch clutch. Additional performance features include KYB rear shocks, four-wheel disc brakes with drilled and slotted front rotors, a custom-fabricated driveshaft, and a 9″ rear axle. Under the care of the seller, service has included a new throttle cable, starter, and various replacement hoses.
This sale will include owner's manuals and a clean title.

@For5Wheels thank you
@Hagarr I have video of cold starting the vehicle and pulling it out of the garage this morning. I am just working with Pcar to get the videos uploaded. It fires right up and has been sitting in our garage over the winter months. It's never had trouble starting up or any issues.
@Vlad600sel Thanks for reaching out. Long story short...Our LLC does a few flip homes per year. The client we were buying the home from had this in the garage. He is an older guy and was wanting to downsize and get rid of some things. We all loved the car when we walked into his garage and he offered it up to us for sale. He asked us to include it in the deal with our offer of the home. We all have small children and no use for the car, but thought it would be something we could move quickly and help get off his hands. He gave us all the books and records on the vehicles which are included. We've basically just had it looked over at our shop and it's sat in our garage during these winter months. It's a great vehicle!
