The Porsche Diesel Tractor 217 was designed as a compact and versatile agricultural tractor that was part of Porsche's brief foray into the production of diesel-powered agricultural machinery during the mid-20th century. This 1962 Porsche Diesel Tractor 217 Standard, often referred to as the Porsche Standard 217, is said to have been previously owned throughout southern Europe and completely restored in Italy throughout 2023 before being imported by the selling dealer. This example is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Florida.
This tractor comes finished in its traditional shade of red contrasted with a cream-beige driver’s seat, front grille, and matching steel wheels. Details include black-finished dual headlamps, a matching three-spoke steering wheel, polished model designations, and painted “Porsche Diesel” lettering along the rear seat. The seller states that the exterior was completely restored as part of the refurbishment. Additional images are provided in the gallery.
The Standard 217 offers a two-cylinder diesel engine that shares its heads & bores with the Porsche Junior. As much as 25 HP is sent to the rear wheels through a 5-speed manual transmission and rear portal axles. The seller reports that mechanical components have been restored as part of the work carried out throughout 2023.

I have a 1960 Standard and it is restored to concours level. Just can't justify the space but, I was tempted ! GLWA, someone will be lucky to own this one. You are not ready for the attention these get at an event !
